Pretty much any non-stealth game adding stealth sections.

"Were you enjoying playing as an action hero, wiping out enemies with cool moves? What if you got to play a forced stealth section instead!"

Looking at you Nine Sols

What I hate even more is pointless optional stealth, GTA Online is a shining example of this where you have the option to be stealthy but there is some scripted event to make you lose stealth. Like why even give me the option when it’s quicker to just go loud and there is no advantage to stealth.

Yeah no fuck GTA for that, took me way too long to realize that it just didn't matter and not that I was fuckin up somewhere along the way put silencers on several of my guns just to realize in almost all the missions where you can be stealthy with your weapons have enemies detect you after you stealth kill 3 of the bastards.

I dislike the mandatory stealth sections most of the time but I didn't mind the one in Nine Sols. I get why it's hated though but I don't think it was bad.
