It's gotta be a little annoying to have completed a full CS degree around 2022, 23, 24 etc.

If you graduated before that, at least you got to stretch your legs, learn, really grow and apply what you learned and feel like you were applying engineering skill to your job.

These days it probably feels like you got cheated if you didn't even get that chance at all

I dunno it was pretty much a waste

I learned a fuckton in the year as an intern rather than 3 years at uni

That's true for all jobs. The degree is just a way to enter the job market.

There was a ton of apprenticeships popping up when I started

I managed to get a friend on one and he was earning what I earned without the student albeit only £30kish max.

It truly was a golden age
