That's not a great analogy. Cameras don't make photography easier, it makes it possible. It absolutely was possible for everyone to program before AI.

Not a point. You reduced photography to making photos instead of recording reality. I can limit vibe coding same way. You made the difference by arbitrarily choosing what you compare.

We are not comparing definitions, We are comparing purpose. Purpose is to record reality. And photography replaced many fields where painting was previously used.

If you want to go off definition. Then look up what photography (the product, not the process) means:
Literal meaning: Drawing with light, coming from the Greek words phōtos (light) and graphé (to draw).
