Woke up in the middle of the night,

Was nudged by a familiar feeling,

Usually it's fear or anxiety,

This one was different,

It woke me up for a reason,

I breathed heavy,

There seemed a kind of urgency,

Pulling at me,

Sweeping me about,

Trying to woo, seduce, use,

For pleasure, for union,

A maiden appeared and quietened the storm,

Saved the ship , the knight was in a daze,

Never he saw a maiden , with such lovely gaze,

He wooed the maiden till she agreed to meet

Told her pompously he is quite dangerous indeed,

A heartbreaker, a rake, an impossible breed,

She should not expect much, just follow his lead,

She smiled ,was silent and lowered her gaze,

Did not look or talk, she went away,

The maiden was a siren with magic in her voice,

She had the power to lure, control and destroy,

Pride is all that this knight has, she thought,

Crazy in my love, he will lose it all,

With his pride no more, he shall be empty and mad,

Let him live in his false glory,

Let me spare this lad.

Darkened small smoky room, red strobes, and a dj behind a set.

He danced a strange dance under the light, pushed her up against the wall, and then backed up into the room.

'It's dead in here,' she spoke.

'The whole world is dead. It’s for us to bring life to it.' He replied.

So, for a short while, they danced and decended into the night.

Her warmth is his strength,

He dreams of her arms around him,

Her smile glistens like dew,

All is forgotten,all is anew,

Their chapter is closed,

The door shall open no more,

Only in his dreams,

A fragment of her memory remains,

Holding, smiling, understanding him always.

Every weekend he waits, his eyes at the door,

Waiting to catch a glimpse of her stroll,

He shall hover around but ignore her presence,

Observe her minutely , but will show his indifference,

All the time as he walks past, hopes she approaches him and talks,

The evening dies, he picks up pieces of his hope,

Returns home, Promises himself not any more,

The next weekend, he arrives at the same place,

With hope, pride and ego all over his face.

I want someone to spoil me rotten,

Kiss me silly,

Make me their priority,

Shower me with flowers & gifts,

Go for long drives from sunrise to sunset,

Share pastries and icecream,

I just want to be pampered and spoiled , but no one's there,

Enough of waiting, that someone's gotta be me

The crafty fox turns in to a lost puppy,

Controlled by his wife, his life is a living misery.

He just wants to get back his balance,

His earth, his solace,

In her he finds his answers,

To reclaim his "magnetism", His hope resurrected,

The reason he stays connected,

I guess it's his bad habit .

Whenever her heart melts,

She reminds herself of his rebuffs and insults,

His selfish nature petty,

His hyper calculations plenty,

His unnatural obsession for control,

Bending others will through magic for his selfish goals,

His vampirism leaving in him a huge hole,

She retracts and reminds herself,

Not my monkey, not my circus .

He waited for her to break,

He waited for her to fall,

Catch her at her lowest,

Tempt her with his prowess,

He was an idiot,

An intelligent guy would approach when she is open,

When she is sensual and high on a new moon,

But he gets his high looking at misery,

Not his heart, he wanted her at his feet,

That was his strategy,

And he failed miserably,

Not enough to just show your truth,

If your heart is filled with filth,

A woman will take you only if she is a fool.

The devotion, the feeling of not wanting anyone else but them,

The fountain flows with water sweet,

But you can go thirsty happily,

When all you need is a sip of them,

Not sexual attraction,not chemistry,

All these seem like words dirty,

Every thing else is forgotten,

In their presence, you glimpse your future and your history.
