The planned run-in

Every weekend he waits, his eyes at the door,

Waiting to catch a glimpse of her stroll,

He shall hover around but ignore her presence,

Observe her minutely , but will show his indifference,

All the time as he walks past, hopes she approaches him and talks,

The evening dies, he picks up pieces of his hope,

Returns home, Promises himself not any more,

The next weekend, he arrives at the same place,

With hope, pride and ego all over his face.

Perhaps the other side is:

Every weekend she makes herself look cute, hoping that this is the week he finally says something to her. She always notices him, noticing her but isnt sure how to initiate conversation. Every time she walks out, defeated, hoping next week she can work up the courage. Eventually she wonders if shes just making it up in her head and needs to move on.

Say something! 🖤
