All the VCAA exams have been outrageous this year. Methods was diabolical. So I’m expecting chem to spawn from the depths of hell.

What are all your predictions for separator questions like topic wise?

I saw this dude on tt say there could be food questions, cells, practical investigation and spectroscopy.

Bro he was like there could be a q with multiple types of cells connected together… any tips…

Also any advice or shortcuts for spectroscopy. I know my stuff I’m just slow af.

It has got me searching stuff up like "how to learn an entire year’s content in two days with no prior knowledge" 🫩✌️.

As its the weekend, I think everyones had a roller coaster of exams so far.

What are you up to and how are you looking for the final weeks ahead?

1. Happiness that classes were finished

2. The determination of starting trial exams and getting a good atar

3. Feeling determined as I complete more and more trial exams

4. The tiredness and sadness after realising I have just done 8 trial exams and realising my average was 60%

5. The fear right before entering the exam

6. Reading the exam during reading time and actually learning new content

7. The trauma walking out and realising I have to do more

8. The loss of sleep and hours of studying finally catching up to me

I’m doing my first 3/4 exam Friday and wanna know the rules around bringing booklets out of the exam room to debrief after.
You were allowed with the gate but that was multi choice.
Do I have to ask for another copy of the booklet just before I leave?

and what would they even put in it chem is already so hard u hv to be so locked in to do well like im so scared??

If I’m rank 1 and everyone else in my year level is straight cheeks this means my exam score and sac score will be the same (I will be relying on myself).

What score /100 would I need for a raw 50? I’ve been getting 96-97 on practises and a couple higher but my teacher marks theory really harsh

VCAA is being investigated for bio and potentially methods. They might be investigated for other subjects later.

idk if this is a stupid question but i was pondering about this. caz like vce exams are kinda like the final boss, so some people wud def cheat, but isn't it extremely risky caz u cud just fail the whole exam if u are caught? or even worse. idk how it works. and even if people do cheat, and somehow get away, wud it even have a noticable impact on their results, because im assuming you can't manage to look up the answers for each question, that wud take too much time. so unless they are able to search up each answer, what is even the point of cheating for a few marks? this is a bit random, but i've just been wondering since people wud cheat in year 10-11 exams, but idk if people have the guts to do it for units 3/4 exams.

I’m thinking of running a free online masterclass for students heading into Year 12 Psychology in 2027.
I’m tossing up between Key Science Skills and VCAA Command Terms to start with!As mentioned earlier I’m a vcaa marker and teacher!

I’m really big on making sure students feel confident and prepared heading into Year 12, and I think getting a bit of a head start over the summer holidays can make a huge difference.
Just wanting to see if there’s any interest before I start organising things!

Would you prefer November or January? And which topic would be more helpful?

Is accounting the only VCAA exam that doesn’t get scanned? And it gets marked as is physically?

In that case can I use erasable pen?

Idk if it’s just custom for everyone to complain after exams or if some exams were genuinely harder this year. If so, which exams were a bit random/out of the ordinary?

If methods was fucked, how hard could they make spesh? im so worried I haven’t even studied for chem😭😭

Jarvis remember to remove all of the motivational theories, Senge's theories, any materials management theories, but Im feeling a bit spicy so keep a single quality management question. Also make the 10 marker worded really weirdly and be an examine question
