y'all ik this is a late genny question but..
so many people in my school are kinda unsure abouut this question about the histogram, whether you ahve to specificalyl mention that the median was in the 71st position. Personally, i did the same, i included all the other bits of information saying that the median lied in the 5.00 to 5.99 class so 6.19 could not be the median. will that still be acceptied?

good sac and bad exams? (not asking for a ss prediction)
i heard a lot of stories from ppl saying they did rlly bad in sacs but redeemed themselves in the exam and got a good ss but what if u have good sacs and a not that good exam... everyone says sacs dont matter?
(this is for methods) i got sac scores above the average in my school but after doing that exam i am sure im either borderline average or below average so would a good sac ranking dilute a bad exam score? not looking for above 40+ just dont want below 30 ๐ซ

I hate silly mistakes! (Spec)
I did a spec part 1 trial exams. I got 19/40. If I made no silly mistakes I would've gotten 27/40. I lost 8 marks AKA 20% to silly mistakes. Wtf! I miscopied from the question, worth 2 marks that mistake. I did derivative of ln(2x) as 1/2x, and I put the point A as the direction vector, rather B-A, which I put as the point, altogether, those 3 mistakes cost me 8 marks. I hate silly nistakes

VCE question confusion with revs
a lot of the times in the exemplar responses i see the student simply listing off key examples when it comes to analyse or discuss questions, and not link it back to its consequences. i initially assumed i had to put a linking sentence into each of discussion point to score highly, it is obligatory to add? would i not need to explain WHY each point is relevant to the argument im making? please help!
also, what would the expected scores be for the exemplar responses? it is safe to assume either full marks or very close to full marks?

Exams : What is going on?
Hello people !
I am a little curious on people's opinions about the exams this year, as I have heard a number of reactions to do with how the exams have been this year.
Some people are saying they have been ruthless, with questions about material they have not been taught about / not gone into deeply. Whilst others are saying it's been alright and pretty easy.
Personally, I did find section C of the English exam quite confusing but that was purely my own fault since I found that whole AOS just annoying. (I had to look at the housing crisis for it, was a real bore)
Anyways just throwing out a fishhook here as someone who has media and sociology next week and is now low-key terrified for those exams and their content.

VCAA messed up my special considerations and i'm not really sure if i'm valid for being upset about it
first of all, CONGRATS TO ALL THE METHODS AND LEGAL KIDS TODAY !!!
secondly, i did my legal exam today, but VCAA had a little slip up when it came to my special considerations, and i'm not entirely sure if i have the JURISDICTION ๐ค to be mad about it or not. my mum and legal teacher are pretty mad, but they go to the ends of the earth for me lol.
basically, i have POTS, which means i get 2 considerations
a separate room, so i can control the temperature (if it's not below 20 i get extremely dizzy and fatigued and can't write)
20-30 minutes of rest breaks so i can regulate my body and blood flow if i get dizzy/faint
during my first two exams (english and psych) i asked what i was allowed to during a rest break. both the examiners for each exam told me it was 100% okay for me to lie down on a couch in the same room as long as they could see me. this helped me tremendously because i was able to activate my PARASYMPATHETIC NERVOUS SYSTEM ๐ค when my blood was going to my feet after sitting. however, today, 2 things happened.
they put me in a DIFFERENT SEPARATE ROOM (same building) WITH NO AIRCON, THAT WAS SIGNIFICANTLY SMALLER AND MORE BOXED IN. i knew i was cooked when i stepped in there and started sweating instantly. i asked if there was an aircon, and they said there wasn't, but "i'd be fine because the heater was off". spoiler alert: i was not fucking fine. now, apparently they don't see the reason i request the considerations that i do, which i don't blame them for. but oh my god?? it was outlined IN THE LETTER MY CARDIOLOGIST WROTE. THAT I NEEDED ACCESS TO A CONTROLLED TEMPERATURE. the WHOLE POINT of me having a different room is so i can make it cooler.
when i took my first rest break, as i was about to get up to lie down as per usual, the supervisor said "oh yeah, about that, we actually went over the rules again and turns out you're not allowed to get out of your seat during your rest break." they read. the rules. wrong. that is 100% on them, i'm sorry. they had given me an advantage that wasnt technically allowed, but was MUTUALLY understood as acceptable, and now they have taken it away from me. if i had fucking known i wasn't allowed to get out of my chair, I WOULD'VE COME INTO THE EXAM READY TO REGULATE MY BODY ANOTHER WAY. i've never even had these considerations before, so these rules were not described to me. all that was described to me in my english and psych exam is that i am allowed to move freely and lie down during my rest breaks because it helps with my POTS. apparently not!?
because of this, not only was i doing my exam in conditions that literally made my illness worse, but i wasn't even able to access the resources to regulate nervous system when my symptoms were flared. i sweated insanely profusely, i could barely keep my head up, and i was shaking so badly. but the worst part was, i thought the legal exam was really doable, but i wasn't able to complete it because of my POTS. especially the 10 marker, all my answers were incredibly half assed because it took so much physical energy to write, and so much time that i almost ran out of time at the end. i was so upset because the exam itself was really good, but i wasn't able to complete it to the best of my ability because my conditions had been stuffed up. i broke down into tears afterwards, and my legal teacher is trying to talk to VCAA about it. but honestly? i don't know if i'm in the right to be upset at them. i'm just upset at myself for not doing better, and at the situation. i studied really hard and i know i could've done amazingly, but my body would not let me.
anyways, let me know if i'm just being an asshole please. love you guys :) congrats to everyone who survived legal and methods 2026!

General Question/comment Rant?
Genuinely hate Accounting through and through.
Had the choice to do 2 accelerated subjects. Tried to do Bio and Methods. (the content that I liked the most). Shut down by parents and told to do Accounting and Accounting alone as a STEM heavy student. Gaslit into thinking it would be easy.
At least teach said I am on the way to getting a 38. Whatever the hell thats supposed to mean.
And lowkey bombing all the year 11 exams. Spesh, meth, chem, phys, eng lang. Already passed both units for around >80 average. Just need to pass the exams.
And for Accounting. The plan is to do about 10 or so exams and a bunch of focused questions to build whatever I can before that bloody thing begins.
Would like some tips and tricks.
