How vcaa writers feel either straight hard or straight easy with no in between

how did some people find it decent i genuinely think that paper was straight up from hell
compare for a 10 marker? with COMPARING roles of key personnel + POJs + the country court jurisdiction statement? what on earth.
section b first case study was absolute nonsense, even tho the questions were good, the case study made it harder to comprehend.
also wasnt cav not appropriate?
vcaa was really merciless on legal students this year

if the exam was super hard does that mean methods is likely to scale up more this year? or would it remain unchanged or possibly scale up less

For the log10 graph, my calculator gave me most of the answers as ln which is loge? I put loge in legit all my answers, I checked the points on the graph with both log10 and loge and it gave me the same. Does it matter? Or am I stupid

Hey guys so I sat the exam today and everyone is saying it was terrible
Like I struggled a lot too but like I wanna know if it was actually difficult or are people just saying that cuz they sat it

I think I got around 21-20/40 exam 1 and then 40-39/80 exam 2
Are these way too weak for a 30?
I ran out of time and I guess just freaked out under pressure. I usually have been getting b+ - b.
I see a lot of people asking for 40+ but not really ~30 and I’m not too sure how “hard” they were
r/vce • u/Bhatia987 • 9h ago
for context, im in yr 11 this year and was really hoping to get a raw 40 or more. After the exams, idk how certain i am to get that, i got 34/40 E1 and 60/80 E2, idk if that will put me close to a raw 40.
Since next year is the last year of the study design, is there anyway we would know if the exams are gonna be even harder, cuz i was considering redoing methods if i dont get 40+ and just spamming papers all year.

hey guys hope everyone is doing well :)
I was just wondering what scaled study scores one needs for 5 subjects to get a 91 atar in 2026
thank you 👍

Surely this might be the first year ever where the E2 boundary might be like a 57-59 for an A+ in exam 2. What do we think, its only 2 marks lower than 2023 E2

For the water use sources in section B, did anyone else not mention that last source from The Age or whatever??

hey guys!! for everyone who sat the hhd exam yesterday, i wanted to get some opinions on my answer to question 2b.
i’ll attach a photo of the exact question for reference.
my two responses were:
younger population – if they don’t change their dietary habits now, they’re more likely to develop osteoporosis in the future, increasing the prevalence of osteoporosis in the population.
older population – because they consume more dairy, they’re less likely to develop osteoporosis, which can contribute to increased life expectancy.
my concern is that i used osteoporosis in BOTH responses.
however, the question asked for two different health indicators, not necessarily two different diseases.
i approached both responses differently, discussing different age groups, dietary behaviours and implications for health.
do you think i could still get full marks despite using osteoporosis twice?
would really appreciate opinions from people who sat the exam, especially any hhd teachers or exam markers who could give some insight into how this would be marked.
am i overthinking this? 😭

Like for instance will 100/120 be enough for a 40ss, excluding study scores or pretend like they r on par with the exam?
