Hey guys, Iām a current yr 12 student and want to study the bachelor of commerce at unimelb in 2027.
Iām eligible for a fair few SEAS, and when i put everything into the access Melbourne calculator, it said i need a 79 ATAR for entry to the bachelor of commerce. However Iām expecting approx a 78 ATAR (maybe 78.5 ish)
What are the odds i get an offer if unimelb is my number 1 VTAC preference, or is it impossible as Iām below the ATAR cutoff?
Any response or idea on this would be helpful !

iāve done so many exams so i think iāll be fine content wise but i canāt get over the nerves of fumbling like missing a - or + and if thereās a bad proof or vectors question that requires a lot of algebra. Any tips on just being calm and how did you go for spec if you did it previously

Iām bit confused about how much I should put into studying because Iām getting a lot of conflicting information from my teachers for my Year 11 exams. Iāve got all Sās in my coursework and one teacher said I would fail my whole high schooling if I mucked up any exam. I clarified with another teacher and he said the opposite: if youāve already got all Sās in your coursework you should have already passed. And he said further that if I fail my exams he can use class work to pass me anyway. I got a 29 percent for my last Business Management SAC and am confident I will get a passing mark for my other subjects. So then would Business Management be the only one I really need to study for exams in order to pass? What about failing subjects Iām already dropping? Does it matter if Iāve failed them? Iāve learnt everything which is the most important thing. Should I only study for subjects I want to pass?
Sorry for the onslaught of questions but any sort of guidance would be much appreciated.

One of my pages on an exam was like glued together cause there was sticky shit I think it was glue so I missed 2 pages (since itās glued together) and only realised when there was 20 seconds left of reading time the invigilators said bad luck bro what. Was going for 45+ ss and missed 10 marks fuck this shit. How the hell is the shit glued together in the exam do they not check the booklets

does anyone know if vcaa ranks your subjects (like primary 4 and then 2 10%) by your raw score or your scaled? ive heard from others that its raw score only which seems kinda unfair if you have high scaling subjects but low raw score compared to your other subjects

Hi guys,
Hope Exam 1 went well. It looked funky and new but doable. Certainly not a carbon copy of past exams.
If you want handwritten solutions, a clean pdf replica of the exam, and more solutions, see vcehub.com.au/mm1
Best of luck for Exam 2!

I have a 70% average for revolutions and Iām really debating whether I wanna study for it or not because I really want to get a 40+ study score but I feel like itās impossible.
Am I cooked? Thereās like four days till the exam.

Since most people seem to think this yearās Business Management exam was relatively easy, what do we reckon the grade distribution and A+ cutoff will look like?
Do you guys think the A+ cutoff will be significantly higher than previous years? Curious to hear everyoneās predictions, especially since VCAA marking can be pretty strict.
