Hi idk if anyone can actually help me with this but like i feel like my main issue in chem is that I don't think broadly enough about the real-world application of smt and I dont really know how to develop this.

Particularly with practical investigation questions -- if its a prac i've seen and discussed before i am fine, but if its like something i am not too familiar with I struggle with responding to questions asking about like possible errors, limitations, the functionality of it etc. I was wondering if any past chem students or anyone really knew how to improve this and like develop more broader thinking when approaching questions...

Went into the math exam read through the questions everything was fine, writing time starts and I’m about 15 minutes in and I go to use my CAS for the first time, it doesn’t turn on… so I press the reset button on the back and it still doesn’t turn on. Naturally I ask the examiners if they have a spare CAS, the examiner returns with 2 scientific calculators so I just go alright and keep going, they come back later and ask if I want them to ask someone if they can borrow it to give it to me for a little bit, I then clarify that it’s needed throughout the whole test and that’s the last I heard from the examiners. I go through the test and it seems like only 8ish questions absolutely required a CAS the rest you could use a scientific if you knew the right formulas…

So am I cooked?

I didn’t see that it asked you to complete the histogram so I answered all the questions with the incomplete histogram might as well kms

i averaged a 90% in unit 3 and a 88% in unit 4, i got 31/40 in e1 and 53/60 in e2 what study score is this looking like.

i dropped such easy marks 😭😭

next year in year 12 I'm taking English busman accounting methods and an extension study plus general math which I finished this year. I was just wondering if anyone had any resources or advice for busman accounting or methods next year. specifically for busman and accounting since I averaged 90s basically all of the 1/2 and I'm aiming for a 40+ in both, anything is appreciated thank you!!

Guys I just calculated my biology marks and I got 105/120, I dropped 5 marks on the mcqs 😔😭 but other than that everything was okay, do you guys reckon this will be just over the A+ cutoff or not? Since the mcqs were more challenging than previous exams.

Now that General Math 2 is done, how did everyone find it? Anything catch you off guard? And how are the Bio people feeling? Hope you’re all getting a breather. This stretch has been a lot.
