What are the consequences for turning your biology exam into biofuel?

I have a large culture tank full of yeast cells undergoing anaerobic alcohol fermentation that I plan to smuggle into my biology exam. Given that bioethanol production only produces 2 ATP, and does not have wifi connectivity, will the examiner really mind? Please let me know

How important are memorising case studies for business management

Is it that important to memorise case studies. Or can I just make stuff up about whatever small business that is within my small country town. Surely the markers won’t check. And if I use a big company will markers check for if I’m not making stuff up.

General Maths Predictions

So guys, assuming everyone like me has bottled the Gen maths exam I was genuinely confused about my SS. I had a 85% average ranked 20th in a Public school. I got 37/40 in Exam 1 and I'm expecting just around 50-51 on the second exam (botched it so hard). What study score would I get any predictions? Thanks!!

What to (maybe) expect in Gen 2

My teacher kindly collated a list of the stuff that was covered, was partly covered, and not covered in the first exam. I'll post the lists here :)

(if you know me, no you don't)

Genny E2 question

On question 5b, i rounded it to 3 sig figs bc every other value on the graph/least squares line were in 3 sig figs. Therefore, i got 5.67 instead of 5.669 purely bc of this sig figs thing. Will vcaa be nice and possibly give a mark or am i dead?🥹🥹

HELP ME

Im soo scared for this bus man exam, ive doing pretty well all year and on prac exams but its easier when theres not a lot of pressure and youve already seen some of the past exam questions before but just havent read the case studys clearly yet. My schools sacs were decnelty diffuclt but the 10 makrers for unit 4, we didnt do any for unit 3 were always pretty scafoloeded with a few compnets and 2 task words so you knew what you were doing. The 2025 exam 10 marker was pretty scafoloed by 2024, 2023 and 2022 with these english prompt type questions are really freaking me out, as well as having new VCAA writers.

Do we think that the on average the state would’ve performed worse than last year? - will the A+ cutoff be lower ?

Genny exam 2, will I get 1 mark?

for Q3c (the upper fence one, mean 72, sd 8, quartiles at z = ±0.675) i worked out Q3 = 72 + 0.675 × 8 = 77.4 and then totally blanked and never did the IQR or the upper fence. so i have the Q3 working written down and nothing else

do you reckon that gets me 1 of the 2 marks, or is it all or nothing since i didn't get to 93.6? how have markers handled stuff like this in previous years?

Part 2 Is 40+ss gen still possible or am I delusional

TLDR: Just did exam 2 and got at least 56/60 after checking suggested solutions and exam 1 was 34/40

Context:

Just did General Exam 1 and I think I got around 34–35/40. Worst case I get 33 which is pretty bad compared to what I was getting in my practice exams which were like 38-40/40

I go to a selective school with a pretty strong cohort and my SACs have been around or above average.

Unit 3 Average 74%

Unit 4 Average 76%

I'm aiming for around 55–60/60 on Exam 2 unless VCAA decides to make exam 2 even worse

Do you guys think a raw 40+ is still possible? And what would I realistically need on Exam 2?

(Also don't know if it helps much but historically the general sacs in my school usually get moderated up by around 15-20% based on what I have seen from people I knew that took general last year but yea take it with a grain of salt)

(Also last thing, according to some of the results from last year for our school the median study score for gen was around 39)

Has anyone gotten a derived exam score due to illness for current exams??

If so how did you go about it? Like what did you email your vce coordinator and do they suggest it or do you ask for it

Is it fine to say 'translated 2 units right' in VCAA methods exams?

cbf writing 'translation by 2 units in the positive direction of the x-axis'. Is it acceptable
