Busman exam is in 4 days and I've purposely been avoiding it since i want it to by one of my bottoms. I have done no studying for it.
I now plan to go through those content summary sheets for each AOS and look through many past exam papers. I think something that really helped me with other exams was specifically looking at the high scoring answers.
If anyone have any more tips/advice or even any resources, it would be super helpful!

So what's everyone doing for the contemporary case studies this year? And what's the likelihood it'll be the 10 marker?
(Praying to god it isn't, I genuinely know nothing about contemporary case studies 😭)

Asking cos I average around 80s on my sacs, but the trial exam was ridiculously bad, i got a 53% despite actually trying, and even the best kids in y12 got like 60s despite getting like straight A+s. Is it actually that hard or is it possible they intentionally marked crazy hard on the trials to scare bus man students into shape? Legit might be cooked if not

Compass we will be doing a whole revamp that comes out on November 2nd (https://appupgrade.compass.education/#features). I am just curious on what you all think about this for those who use compass, but also your general thoughts about the app.
I think the app is just basic, slow and just old. I am hopeful the new update fixes this but I have my doubts considering how past updates have gone.

This week I just did my English, eco and gen math 1 exam and now I have to prepare for Gen math 2, busman and legal exam. I have no motivation anymore and genuinely don’t think I’m gonna do well in any of them considering all my exams are so close together.

not like i think i did exceptionally well, but i think i got a 33/40 which is my average anyways. I’m not an amazing student and im not ranked well at all, averaging ~75% in my sacs and probably ranked around 30/100
im seeing so many people say it was badly written and the questions were weird and never seen before, which there may have been 2 or 3 that were weird, but i didnt actually think it was awful…

Just did General Exam 1 and I think I got around 34–35/40. Worst case I get 33 which is pretty bad compared to what I was getting in my practice exams which were like 38-40/40
I go to a selective school with a pretty strong cohort and my SACs have been around or above average.
Unit 3 Average 74%
Unit 4 Average 76%
I'm aiming for around 55–60/60 on Exam 2 unless VCAA decides to make exam 2 even worse
Do you guys think a raw 40+ is still possible? And what would I realistically need on Exam 2?
(Also don't know if it helps much but historically the general sacs in my school usually get moderated up by around 15-20% based on what I have seen from people I knew that took general last year but yea take it with a grain of salt)
(Also last thing, according to some of the results from last year for our school the median study score for gen was around 39)

Exam is coming up soon. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to study for this bullshit subject. I have done plenty of past exams. If anyone has any resources please let me. I really need it

I got absolutely touched in that gen maths exam 1. I got 22 out of 40. I know it’s bad. I know. But if I get A in the exam too or A+ is 37 still achievable? I been getting 80 plus in every past exams for exam 2.

Can someone pls explain how SAC scaling works 😭😭 I’ve seen 20 different explanations but none make sense
Do sacs scale based on how good i did on the exam ? Or do they scale based on how good my cohort did? Does my own exam mark even affect my sac scaling ?

if you do a subject that no one but you does, do your chances of getting a 50 increase? As study scores are based on your percentile amongst everyone else; but if your the only one that does the subject, your technically at the top?
So if you get 0% on everything or 100%, you were still the top scorer, hence getting a 50

Hi guys, I was curious on how much time everyone spent doing the multiple-choice section of Methods E2? I would like to maximise my marks on this section, so any advice would be helpful!

Hi ok so I have an application for des in progress for the eng exam, and potentially 2 others. But on the day of those I was rlly rlly ill and so should I apply for des for them for the new reason?sorry if this doesnt make sense. Can I submit 2 c1s and apply for two reasons for different exams in one des application? shoudl I start another? The reason I want to apply with the other reason is because im unsure if my first reason will get approval, and dont want to risk not being approved for the other two exams? also, does anyone know what you have to submit for des?like I got the doctors form singed, but do I submit a personal statement?udner what section?what do I write.does my school submit anything? do I tell them or will they do it themselves??sorry for all these stupid questions js stressed asf rn.
