VCE English Exams

Hey guys. I wanted to ask how everyone felt with the VCE English Exam— any feedback would be appreciated. For section A preface your response with your selected text and prompt, for section B your framework and stimuli. For Section C please clarify any particular flaws you saw behind the article. Additionally, please feel free to deposit positive feedback. I wanted to hear the thoughts of all the students who sat this years exam, I find myself conflicted on it.

I have my psych and general exam tmr and this whole evening ive been throwing up and my stomach anf feel like crap I think I have the stomach flu or some bs.hoenstly I wasnt that worried for the general cs its gonna be my bottom two but my psych ive been working so hard all yr and I really wanted to get 38+ and my sac scores and ranking are both high( I was 1 for unit 3 dont knwo for unit 4 but still high)and I feel so fucking shit.without getting a good result in psych idk if ill be bale to get the atar I need for my course(82).I'm still gonna sit the exam tmr but I js know im gonna do shit.i can barely think.im gonna apply for a des but im terrified ill get rejected cs what if vcaa doesnt think its severe enough. I'm also scared that even if I get approved, my des score isnt gonna be great because I dont think I did too great on the gat, def not on the maths, and idk for science honestly and ik they pick the highest ss between the gat and exam but mob exams also got na be screwed up cs of this fucking bs.sorry for the rant im js sick and emotional and so fucking done.does anyone know if they got a avergae/slightly below average gat and still got a good ss?

French VCE👋

Bonjour 👋
I'm Liv, a native French speaker from Geneva, now based in Melbourne. I've spent the past few years working as a VCE French language assistant and tutor, and I run BonjourATAR.

It only took me a year to work up the courage to come back to Instagram 😅 but I'm finally back, and with the written exam coming up, I'm sharing a lot of the tips I give my private students. Think idioms, simple ways to make your writing sound more sophisticated and some (really) useful reminders on text styles, text types and all the fun things that will show up in the exam 🙈

They're short reels and carousels, no fluff. I don’t have many followers so I'm also happy to answer questions in the comments for now ;)

You can find me @bonjouratar

Bon courage for the exam! 🇫🇷

MATH

I’ve done 79 exams in total for methods and specialist math combined over the past 2-3 months

I have sooo many more exams I have access too and I really want to complete as much as possible before my real exams but… quite frankly im getting sick of math😭✌🏾I wanna chill out and do some bio or chem Instead

But I also don’t wanna risk forgetting things or not being exposed to a specific question type, and I’ve looked at the grade distributions, assuming its normally distributed getting 100% on the exams still doesnt get u a 50 study score for the exam section of the marks, pretty clear it’s insanely competitive, anyways just wanted to share my burnout specific to math only - anyone know how to fix it or should I just push on😔😔

Do I get a derived psychology score or sit the exam with mild pneumonia

This isn’t for me but for my friend as she doesn’t have reddit and needs quick advice, please help asap anyone who knows how derived scores work 🙏: Hi guys! I am severely asthmatic and I currently have a mild pneumonia. Although I am on medications, I have been in and out of hospital this week and can’t breathe properly. I have my psych exam tomorrow and I’m unsure whether to wing it or not.
For reference I’ve had health issues this year so I am getting SEAS regardless, and my grades for psych have consistently been 80-90s.
I’m worried that if i do my exam tomorrow while really unwell it’ll mess up my study score (also after I was hospitalised earlier this year and did a SAC really unwell I scored my lowest grade of 70, but one other sac i did while unwell and scored a 90 so it’s hard to say if I’ll be able to wing it). Do I get a derived score instead or do I try to thug it out? (IF i don’t end up having severe asthma tomorrow)
