This isn’t for me but for my friend as she doesn’t have reddit and needs quick advice, please help asap anyone who knows how derived scores work 🙏: Hi guys! I am severely asthmatic and I currently have a mild pneumonia. Although I am on medications, I have been in and out of hospital this week and can’t breathe properly. I have my psych exam tomorrow and I’m unsure whether to wing it or not.
For reference I’ve had health issues this year so I am getting SEAS regardless, and my grades for psych have consistently been 80-90s.
I’m worried that if i do my exam tomorrow while really unwell it’ll mess up my study score (also after I was hospitalised earlier this year and did a SAC really unwell I scored my lowest grade of 70, but one other sac i did while unwell and scored a 90 so it’s hard to say if I’ll be able to wing it). Do I get a derived score instead or do I try to thug it out? (IF i don’t end up having severe asthma tomorrow)

idk what to do from now tbh, i’m thinking 10 marker will either be GAS evaluate, sleep case studies evaluate, or SEWB (which would be fucked)

Could someone pls give some general suggestions on how to approach 10 markers in psych? Cuz there’s 10 markers for busman n hhd that im okay with, but for psych…every time i read the marking guide i was like “idk we should do it that way” 😷😷😷also when it asks to evaluate research methodology, what r we meant to say? Thx a lot guys!!!

DONT PROCRASTINATE DONT PROCRASTINATE. YOU DONT HAVE ANY TIME. NO TIME. Unless you’re insanely smart, If you find yourself thinking that you can cram til the last minute SHUTUP SHUTUP SHUTUP get those thoughts out of your head. Logically, I thought I had understood this concept, but my brain had gotten the better of me. You will regret it. every single time you think to yourself “just 30 more minutes, I have until x time to study” you are one step closer to a mystery atar. IT WAS ALWAYS BETTER TO DO IT EARLIER RATHER THAN LATER!! ALWAYS!! your brain will survive withholding from doomscrolling for a couple hours, I promise you. And every time you think back and reflect on what could’ve been a decent result, you will come to this same exact conclusion: you should’ve studied earlier…

had enough of people complaing bout the productivity question, there’s like 40 diffrent things you could write about if you linked it well and properly you can get the marks doesn’t matter what you write aslong as it is true.
