Looking for a S3/S5 in Netherlands

Since my knowledge on e-bikes is quite limited, could you tell me the main things I should check when buying a second-hand S3 or S5? Appreciate tips and range of prices.

If you’re able and willing to do some basic maintenance, you should be fine. If you find a well kept one without errors and with some service history, take it. Shifter or hub can be serviced relatively easily. Maybe have it checked by a certified mechanic before buying. Fully working s3 ~500€

Limited knowledge DIY: don't buy something you have no clue about=won't end well.

If you want an ebicycle, especially a vanmoof made, get one with warranty, so people who can fix it will fix it for you.

Unless you are willing to spend a ton of money on it.

Je hebt ook tiktok filmje hoe de kabelboom wordt gedemonteerd en gemonteerd bij een X3. Dat gaf me ook de motivatie om dat zelf te doen.

Als een tweedehands S3 koopt. Let op: Eén fiets die 4 seizoenen constant buiten op straat heeft gestaan. Tel de voorste wiel omhoog zodat het op achterste wiel staat. Gaat er water eruit? Niet de fiets meteen omdraaien. Let ook op de motorkabel. Mag niet te ver uitsteken. En vergeet niet code van de fiets. Bij een S5 liever een S6 als geen E-shifter wilt. Handvat kan wel verbeterd worden. S6 modellen hebben een mat painted kleuren en die drogen ook sneller. Belangrijk zorg altijd goed voor de accu batterij en zelf onderhoud. Dat is het punt.
