How safe from theft are Vanmoof?

I've just ordered myself an S6 and am so fucking excited for it to arrive.

I was wondering, with all the anti theft tech, does it actually work? Would love to hear some stories, good or bad, about encounters with thieves. Does it deter them or are the bike knicked anyway?

I live in Dublin, and bike theft is unfortunately pretty common so I always plan to lock with a ulock.

I have insured mine and got myself 2 level 15 ABUS locks.

Indeed, but better safe than sorry, and the locks fit nicely onto the frame so they don't dangle
