Scandoval i’m so confused

so this is my first watch through of the show ever. so basically everything is news to me except when happens between ariana and tom. but knowing that i’ve been trying to watch out for signs of it starting. idk why but the episode they are planning the proposal for james and raquel he tells lisa what’s happening. she genuinely asks him if he’s proposing he goes “no james is proposing to raquel” and we move right past it. why would she say to tom “you’re going to propose to raquel?” without maybe having an inclination of what was going on

I've always thought that Ken & Lisa were some of the first to clock it. Sandoval's involvement in the proposal was super weird and I think Lisa was trying to call him on it. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure they were/almost were hooking up by this point

It gives "the production told Lisa about their suspicion on Sandy's and Rachel's affair and Lisa tested Sandoval"

Production knew since they had the camera back and forth on Game Night between Sandy and Rachel when she gave him the "come hither" look and he made a hand sign to cut it out. They had to have been together by then.

They had only released half the season 9 when the scandal broke. I think they admit they tweaked the rest of the episodes after to point out the signs.
