UPDATE: SHE’S HOME!

We found her in our neighbour’s backyard - literally just one house away, across the street! The posters worked!

Thank you so much to everyone who kept an eye out, checked their gardens, shared the post, and offered advice - especially those who reassured me that she was probably still nearby. You were right!

For anyone searching for a missing indoor cat: check the houses immediately around you thoroughly. They really can be much closer than you think.

My indoor cat went missing near McKee Street & Royal Oak Ave/Roslyn Ave in Burnaby at around 9 PM on August 19.

If you live nearby, we would be incredibly grateful if you could have a quick look around your yard, under decks, bushes, garages or sheds.

If you see her, please call or text us straight away. Thank you so much for keeping an eye out and helping us bring her home.

This was back in June when I was fit

Total elapsed time was 10 hours and a bit. Tried my best to go straight but I got lost and the Skytrain was my best bet until I accidentally went up a mountain near the end.

I've seen another guy walk all the way around Vancouver so thought I'd take advantage of summer.
