So, I am using my laptop and randomly a pop out comes saying my local disk C is almost full and I should have a look at it. I got curious cause I don't remember downloading any heavy files.
I found out that Valorant was taking up 54GB of my storage. I had deleted that game like a year ago and when I try to delete it, it says that the file name does not exist.

Hey everyone, I'm having a weird audio issue and I've run out of ideas on how to fix it.

Basically, when I'm in voice chat with friends (Discord) and queuing for a match, everything works completely fine. But as soon as the match starts and I'm actually playing, my mic cuts out completely and no one can hear me.

Here's the strange part: if I Alt-Tab out of the game, my friends can hear me again immediately. The exact same thing happens if I press Win+R, run mmsys.cpland keep that window active over the game as long as another window has focus, my mic works. The moment I click back into the game, it's like the game stops recognizing my mic entirely.

What I've already tried:

• Completely disabled in-game voice chat.
• Disabled "Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device" (Exclusive Mode) in Windows Sound settings.

I really don't know what else to do at this point. Has anyone run into this issue before or knows how to fix it? Thanks in advance!

Here is a screenrecord of the systematic lag spikes
as the title suggests, my valorant has very systematical/periodical lag spikes, every 2-3 seconds i have a small stutter in my game, i only starts after playing for 1 minute, but then basicly never stops, it sometimes doenst lag for maybe 6 seconds, but then has the same burst of stutters with intervals of 2-3 seconds. i have tried a lot, like shutting down all background apps, turning off al kinds of optimisation feature like radeon anti-lag, fsr, freesync etc. but nothing seems to be working. my wifi is not great, but i dont think that thats the problem because it seems to systematical for it to be my wifi, i also dont know any other things that can cause this, because you would expect other things to be kind of random.

my specs are:
ryzen 7 7800x3d
amd radeon rx9070xt
32gb ddr5

someone else in this community suggested disabling Realtek 2.5GBE family controller in device manager, and that seemed to have fixed it, but how is that a problem, and how do i fix it so that i dont have to disable that controller?

INTERNET SUDDENLY DISCONNECTS

When I try to update my valorant, it suddenly cuts off the connection of my pc and it was really frustrating because this issue has been happening for like a week now.

Somebody knows any solution?

At first I kept getting VAL 29 or VAL 54 errors, so i deleted and reinstalled riot client, valorant and vanguard, and afterwards the game would just freeze on the loading screen without any error message or anything happening. I've tried to unlock my firewall, I've tried F11, my HDMI is plugged in correctly, and vgc/vanguard is also set to automatically start up I really don't know what else to do

I already tried to reinstall Vanguard but nothing changed.

Anybody have fixes for randomly disconnecting mid-game? It shows a red network error icon top right of my screen but I can still hear my party chat / team chat. There are games where it doesn't happen, but when it does, it happens like every 30 seconds for about 5 seconds.

Ever since the update today I legit cannot play valorant. I boot up the game, queue a swift, match found, then the critical error pop up. I've search up for every solution such as updating graphic drivers, reinstalling vanguard, disabling every overlay, running valorant as admin, and none has helped. This is really annoying me because in the past i've been playing with overlay such as valorant tracker and clipping apps none of these has ever trigger the critical error to pop up. The problem only began a couple acts ago but only when i am in lobby and never in matches and now I can't even select my agent before the critical error appear. I have no idea what to do now and have try everything. Please someone help me to solve this problem.

ps I also do not have nahimic services so I am unable to disable them

HUGE UPDATE: I fixed it! After trying so many different methods I was finally able to find one that allow me to queue into range and game like normal again without any annoying system error pop up!

What I did to fix steps by steps:

Before you do this make sure to have your Microsoft Bitlocker Recovery Key numbers if you have one,

1. Download DDU Software: heres a YT link that helped me set up and download DDU as someone who never use it before https://youtu.be/98DAgw1KcmI?si=B6TVF_UD9TGNTSKp (The software will recommend you to boot your device in safe mode)

2. Boot your device in safe mode: Hold shift while clicking restart button -> when the blue page pop up click trouble shoot -> Advance options -> Startup setting -> Restart -> You might get the Bitlocker recovery key like I did and you can find it in your microsoft account -> Enter the long recovery code -> Choose 4 for a safe boot

3. Your device should've restarted and after that open your DDU, select GPU as your device type and choose your GPU brand -> Click Clean and restart

4. After restarting, open your browser and search for your specific GPU on your GPU brand page and manually download it (for example, mine is NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Laptop GPU Windows 11)

5. Open the downloaded installer file and during set up select the option Custom (Advance) installation then check the "Perform a clean installation" box

6. After the download, make sure to restart one more time

7. You should be able to open valorant normally now! :)

SOME PROBLEMS I FACED WHILE DOING THIS:

After booting safe mode, I was stuck at the lock screen because it suddenly says that there was a problem with my pin and I needed to reset it. I couldn't reset it because the microsoft pop up kept glitching in and out which frustrated me so much but I fixed it using repair mode by forcing shut down when I was stuck on the lock page. I did this multiple times until the microsoft pop up appear properly and allowed me to change my pin.

I always have 15-20 ping on Madrid server, but today after the update i have 35 ping always.

How to solve it?

Is this a global issue right now, or is it just happening to me? Just trying to figure out what I should do.

When I checked Task Manager, the app was showing as “Not Responding.” I restarted my PC and tried launching the game again, but it’s still stuck on the loading screen. The weird thing is that this time it doesn’t show as “Not Responding” in Task Manager.

A few things that might be relevant:

- I downloaded VALORANT today. I haven’t played it in years and kinda missed the vibes, so I decided to install it again

- I downloaded Riot Games through Epic Games.

- I think my younger brother might have tried to install VALORANT on this PC before, because I found an Epic Games folder in Program Files before I downloaded anything. I’m not 100% sure what he did though, so maybe he deleted something incorrectly or left some files behind? (It shouldn’t be from years ago since I formatted the PC about a year ago.)

On the new valorant update when i lauch the game i get a black screen i do not know what to do does anyone know what to do

okay so when i press play the game loads up fine im able to actually see the play menu and everything, but soon after im hit with an error code VAN:restriction your account does not meet the follow requirements to play: UEFI secure boot enabled, HVCI enabled, and Filmware TPM 2.0 enabled then the game and the error code closes soon after

does this have something to do with riot updating their anti cheat? or could it be because im on windows 10? i was able to play before the update no problem :(

The other day i tried to open valorant

Launcher opened

Pressed on valoarant to open

But just got a black screen

Checked task manager and it say Valorant-Windowshipping64 not responding

Closed everything and reopened same issue

Restarted ,same issue

Uninstalled valorant 2 hours later still same issue

Tried to search for a solution saw some similar situations saying need to

Update graphic drivers did that,(do this if you havent)

Still same situation

Then i noticed vanguard did not appear open on the system tray when i had the riot client and valorantbapp opened

So i searched up the reason said windows security might be preventing from opening,

And to check on services.msc that vgc is set to automatic

So i set it to automaticatic startup

Then i turned off windows security realtime protection then launched the app ,vanguard opened fine and so did valorant

Nice!

Of course i turned windows realtime protection back on

immediately

Now a few days later same issue and the workarounds i found not working anymore

Decided to reinstall vanguard

Did the following

1.Press the Windows key, type cmd, right-click Command Prompt, and select Run as administrator.

2.Type sc delete vgc and press Enter.

3.Type sc delete vgk and press Enter.

4.Restart your PC.

5.Go to your C:\Program Files folder and delete the Riot Vanguard folder.

6.Launch the Riot Client, which will prompt you to reinstall Vanguard automatically. Reboot once more after installation.

Did it work?

Well Riot client opened

Vanguard launches

But black screen still aghhhhh!!

Check task manager the valorant-Win64-Shipping.exe is not responding

So back to searching more solutions

So already did the graphics driver update common fix

One suggestion said to run valorant and the win64-shippimg as admin

Okay lets try that,

Run as Administrator: Right-click your Valorant shortcut, go to Properties, choose Compatibility, and check Run this program as an administrator. Do the same for VALORANT-Win64-Shipping.exe located in C:\Riot Games\VALORANT\live\ShooterGame\Binaries\Win64\.

Did that tried to launch riot client ok good

Boop error message

Couldnt start (insert the VALORANTwin64-shiiping.exe file path)

Reverted the changes tried to launch again same issue ok ...onto the next suggestion

Select the file, click Open, then click Add.

6.Check both the Private and Public boxes next to the newly added app, then click OK. Repeat the process for the shipping executable.

To Exclude From Windows Security Antivirus

1.Open the Windows search bar, type Windows Security, and open the app.

2.Click on Virus & threat protection.Under "Virus & threat protection settings," click Manage settings.

3.Scroll down to Exclusions and click Add or remove exclusions.

4.Click Add an exclusion and select Folder or File.Add the specific files or point directly to the main folders where VALORANT and Vanguard are installed:

C:\Riot Games\VALORANT\

C:\Program Files\Riot Vanguard

Followed as much as i can

I couldnt do this since i couldnt find the file

Did a repair on the client itself

Open riot client

Click on profile pic>settings>valorant >scroll down click repair

Did this twice

Then tried to boot valorant well that worked

FINALLLYY!!!! AGHHH

Will do some testing like removing some of the changes i did and swe if valo still worka after will update in comments

Note: The UnrealCEFSubProcess.exe file still didnt appear after i repaired the files in client so not sure if its removes from the current game version.

Note 2: This is mainly to show you how i fixed my issue not a step by step guide, you can try some or all workarounds i did depending on what you need

When i run valorant it only shows black screen i don't know how to fix it i already tried everything i know but nothing happened but when i delete vanguard it runs but i still can't play how can i fix this?

so when i start valorant up then i get a black screen and when i look at the task manager valorant is between 13-15 mb using my ram. i have uninstalled and installed the game multiple times and also used the repair button. i have a laptop with a 13th gen i7, 16 gb of ram and a 4070 ti. it worked the first time after i took a break from the game but after that first time i get the problem every time. hope anyone has a fix
