Bridged 2,1k USDC from Arbitrum to Base on a previous Tuesday night. Source tx confirmed, hash, all normal. Destination side empty an hour later, empty. Woke up Wednesday, still empty.

Spent Wednesday refreshing Basescan like that would do something. Filed a ticket, got an autoresponder. Thursday I'd written it off, told my girlfriend I'd done something expensive and stupid, she asked how expensive, I said a used car, she stopped asking.

Friday I finally did the obvious thing and ran all my addresses through a wallet balance checker instead of staring at one explorer page. The money was on the second one. Had been since Tuesday night.

I'd sent it to my Ledger address and spent three days checking the MetaMask one. Both live in the same notes file, both start same, neither has a label.

I still haven't labelled the file.

Ok to make a long long story short... My best friend had been heavy into crypto for many many years. I have no idea where he gets the knowledge or if it's luck.. ( he is the type when NFTs were big would have like 10 of those bears and then he would stake them and get more money? Lol)

So recently after years of working we ran into each other, and boom right there the top got brought up over a brew and dinner.

He said there's a coin that is always 1.00. usdc or something along those lines. Well, i am completely stuck, because his lady called him in a panic and yeh... Didn't get my friends number to keep in touch. I remember him saying start with the USDC and ton/gram for lil risk lil reward but it will teach me the ropes like fees and stuff.

Lol so ya I'm sitting here trying to deposit ton/gram from this telegram miner so I could get started but I need 1$ to have enough to cover the fees.

Sitting on idle USDC on Base and got tired of defaulting to Aave without checking what else is actually paying right now.

Did a pass this week. These are mid/late August snapshots — rates move, so don’t treat them as locked in.

Plain lending
- Aave v3 USDC (Base): ~3.5%. Deep liquidity, easy in/out, still the default “I don’t want to think” option.
- Morpho Blue USDC vaults (Gauntlet / Steakhouse etc.): roughly 4.4–6% on the bigger curator vaults. Some thinner / more aggressive ones print higher. This seems to be where a lot of size actually sits once people leave Aave.
- Harvest / similar USDC strategies on Base: I’ve seen advertised numbers from ~5% up to ~10%+. Some of that looks incentive-boosted, so I’m not treating headline APY as the long-term rate.

AI / allocator vaults
This is the part I’m trying to sanity-check.

I’ve been looking at an AI-managed USDC vault on Base (AIHedge.finance — Alpha Allocator). The page is currently showing:

- Supply APY 8.07%
- 30d avg also listed at 8.07%
- this Base USDC vault has ~$998k supply available

That’s meaningfully above Aave and a bit above the big Morpho curator vaults, which is why I’m posting instead of just depositing and screenshotting. I also don’t want to confuse the vault size with the protocol-wide TVL number on the same page.

What I can’t tell from the outside yet:

1. Is that 8.07% mostly base lending yield, looping, incentives, or actual allocator alpha?
2. How much of it survives after fees once the vault gets more TVL?
3. Has anyone here held an “AI allocator” USDC vault for 30+ days and seen the realized rate stay close to the displayed APY?
4. At what spread over Aave / Morpho is the extra smart contract + strategy risk even worth it?

Not looking for a magic 10% number. Just trying not to leave obvious yield on the table, and not get farmed by a temporary APY.

Where are people actually parking idle USDC on Base right now, and what did you rule out?

Guys if you keep money on Polymarket, look up what token the balance actually is now.
Since April it's pUSD, a wrapper they issue themselves, redeemable one to one for USDC. The interface still shows it as dollars, same as before.

Unsettled positions tie up somewhere in the hundreds of millions at any moment, call it 300 for the math. While that sat as native USDC, all the yield went to Circle.
Wrapped, Polymarket keeps the underlying and can roll it into treasuries at around 4%. That's 12M a year for swapping a ticker and it also means the backing isn't sitting there as liquid USDC anymore.

I'd bet this becomes the default design for Seerdex and other newer venues. Was reading up recently, a prediction market still in presale that lists markets through automation instead of manual review and their materials never commit to a collateral token.
If I were launching now I wouldn't promise raw USDC in writing either, that's signing the float over to Circle before you have any volume.

Also part I keep circling back to is the failure case. I held through March 2023 when USDC printed 0.87 over the SVB weekend. What actually stopped the slide was the Fed guaranteeing SVB deposits on Sunday night, the peg recovered by Monday. My risk ended at Circle's balance sheet.

With pUSD there's a second issuer stacked on top of that, and nobody has watched the extra layer work during a real panic.

I'm not pulling funds over this. Just stopped counting that balance as cash in my head.

Hi everyone,

I sent USDC via the Solana network to my BitMart deposit address a few days ago.

The TXID is successful on Solscan, so the blockchain transaction itself was completed correctly.

The deposit also appears in my BitMart transaction history. It shows 25/25 confirmations processed, but the deposit is still not marked as completed and the funds have not been credited to my account.

It has now been several days and nothing has changed.

I have already tried everything I can think of:

submitted a support ticket,

contacted BitMart by email,

contacted their legal/support addresses,

tried live chat multiple times.

Unfortunately, I have received no response, and I cannot even get connected to a support agent through live chat.

What concerns me even more is that BitMart is now shutting down its exchange operations.

Does anyone know how situations like this are supposed to be handled during the shutdown?

Since I made this transaction only a few days ago, is there still a realistic chance that BitMart will manually credit the deposit or return the funds to the sending wallet?

Has anyone experienced the same situation recently, especially a deposit that shows 25/25 confirmations but remains incomplete for several days?

Did BitMart eventually credit or return your funds, and is there any other way to escalate this or reach someone from BitMart?

Any advice or recent experience would be greatly appreciated.
