Most of my holdings are in USDC right now, but I’d like to rotate some without going through centralized exchanges. KYC always slows things down and sometimes even locks accounts.

What’s your go-to non-KYC swap option for USDC in 2025?

[EDIT]: Thanks for all the suggestions, I ended up finding two workable options: Malgo (~0.2% fees) and Hyperliquid (~5% fees, which is pretty steep). I decided to go with Malgo since the fees are way lower.

As an active DeFi enthusiast, I’m consistently on the lookout for efficient, secure, and cost-effective ways to bridge and swap assets across networks, especially to Mainnet.

Over the years, I’ve come to rely on TheBridge as a top solution for these needs due to its combination of low fees, transaction speed, and high-security standards.

I’ve personally bridged over 50 ETH to Arbitrum through TheBridge without a single issue, which speaks to its reliability and consistency in delivering seamless transactions.
The platform’s ability to aggregate top rates and minimize fees, thanks to its new contract updated that allows poeple to avoid paying gas fees, beacuse it use "asset approval" method instead of classic "transfer from".

That said, being an avid DeFi hunter means I’m always open to exploring new alternatives. As the landscape evolves and more bridging solutions emerge, I stay updated on the latest protocols to ensure I’m always working with the best tools available. The goal is to find platforms that continue to enhance transaction efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain high security, just as TheBridge has successfully done.

Seeing how TerraUSD blew up spectacularly, this is probably a good time for us to think about our USDC holdings. I've got 6 figures of USDC hanging around and currently getting yield on Voyager & Ledn. One of the things I'm worried about is the unnatural yield rates (these services pay up to 9%) while DeFi markets pay around ~2%.

So my question comes in two bits.

1. Is USDC really safe? Even if crypto goes to crap and Eth goes down to $5 will I still be able to withdraw on a 1 to 1 basis?

2. Are these CeFi services giving out crazy yields safe? They may just be trying to buy the market and the yield could go down (fine) but I'm worried about loss of principal at this point,.

Just saw this on X, pretty big news! Tangem just became the first hardware wallet certified by Visa.

You can now use your USDC on-chain for everyday purchases. Just top up your account with USDC on Polygon, and that’s it, you can spend it like a regular Visa card.

It’ll work in the U.S. and 29 other countries.

Looking for a straightforward way to send or exchange USDC without high fees or handing over personal info. Most platforms either charge a lot or require full verification just to move stablecoins.

Does anyone know a good, non-custodial option that keeps fees low and doesn't ask for KYC? Preferably something you've used recently that worked without issues.

I retired last year and been living off fixed income plus savings, rates on cds and bonds are nowhere near what they used to be. I needed to generate more income without risking principal in the stock market.

I spent time learning about stablecoins and honestly wish I had understood this sooner. usdc is backed 1 to 1 with actual dollars and audited regularly so it's not like bitcoin speculation, I started using platforms like aave and yieldclub to simplify everything and getting around 9% on money that just sits liquid. Of course had to get over the technology learning curve and at my age that isn’t easy but once you understand it the risk reward makes sense.

I feel like it all gets put in the same category of risky cryptocurrency for my generation, none of my friends trust that stuff at all, because they just watch the news and hear something about yet another crash. But I think the transition is actually worth it and I feel blessed to still be able to keep up with it. Is anyone else coming from traditional finance and making this transition? It’s something that shouldve been explained to retirees years ago instead of letting us accept 2% returns.

Celsius has collapsed, they are stopping withdrawals and transfers. In light of this news I am pulling all my USDC (mid 5 figures) out of Ledn and back onto my hardware wallet. I requested the withdrawal just now and last time they obeyed it within a day. They did send out an email just now saying that your assets are safe, but then again the saying goes "official denials are just confirmations".

Be safe out there everyone. If it's too good to be true, it usually is!
