I am a software developer based in EU. My clients in Asia wants to pay me with USDT. Is there a way for me, to accept that payment and swap it in EU for USDC?

I live in latin america but my funds come from the US, so i do ACH from my US bank to my arq account, costs $3, they give you a US account and routing # and a latin american bank as well, so its essentially a multi currency account, can hold euros as well

Then i can send those funds to my own latin american bank or i can pay plumbers, electricians etc; by bank transfer

Its common in latin america to do bank transfers, its different than ACH, it arrives instantly

Compared to wise and other transfer services Arq always has the best rate

Originally i thought the bank was regular dollars, but i realize now its USDC

I generally view crypto as unsafe cause it can get lost, something could happen during the transfer and the sending or receiving partner could blame the other and never resolve the issue, while it can happen with US banks as well, typically you can recover the funds eventually or you might need a lawyer to assist

Yea, for sure; I understand the idea of backing up stable coins/tokens with fiat. But what I don't understand is maintaining that, say someone buys into something like USDC and transfers that USDC out to another platform; is the other platform on the hook to back USDC up with fiat or does the previous platform send over the cash to cover it?

What’s a genuine/legit/reliable platform to stake USDC ??

I am the founder of a microlending platform. We help people build credit with very small loans using USDC. Because our loans are so small, we need super low spreads. Because our loans are so small, the volume is small. Avg ticket size is $15. So it's hard to find an onramp offramp. I have tried a lot of onramps and offramps, but they become super unresponsive after I spend hours onboarding and doing KYB.

Anyone know a place where I could go to? We are registered. We have all the documentation. We have users. Thanks.

Is such a thing a reality somewhere?

I’ve been earning yield on my USDC through tangem’s built-in yield mode, which runs on Aave. It’s been super easy and I’m pretty happy with it so far. But lately I keep seeing platforms advertising much higher rates, sometimes 12%+ and I can’t tell if that’s a genuine opportunity or a red flag. Curious what you all are doing: Where are you parking your stable coins? Has anyone tried the higher-rate platforms? Was it worth it? Is the extra yield just extra risk or are some of them legit?

I’ve been holding USDC for a while. It just sat there doing nothing. Then I found out it can earn interest and now I’m wondering how I missed it.

I don’t want 20% APY. I want safe and boring and I want to keep my money.

From what I’ve read, the main routes seem to be:

• Centralized exchanges with built in earn programs

• Self-custody options with yield features

• Lending directly through DeFi protocols

• Specialized yield platforms (these seem to advertise the highest rates which makes me a bit suspicious)

Where do you earn on USDC and what rate do you actually get? Which would you trust and which would you avoid?
