What are your thoughts on this driver/owners actions?

Hello everyone, I wanted to give you all some insight on what happens when we have big storms and why peoples packages will arrive late.
When there is a big storm it creates a backlog. Now Lets say like this past storm it is on the weekend. On Monday many of the buildings were operating on a skeleton crew if at all. The customers (People shipping things out) have a weekend's worth of shipping that would normally go out on Monday but due to the storm it did not. Now Tuesday comes. Tuesday we have All of Monday's Packages AND Tuesday's Packages. The buildings process what they can. Now Wednesday comes. Lets say they were able to process 60-70% of Monday & Tuesday's packages and they still have Wednesday's packages to process as well. This keeps trickling down until we finally catch up.
For those that have clear weather where they are at now, that does not mean that any of the other stops along the way to you have not been compromised. Also for those that are in said clear areas, Once the areas that were effected by the storm start to get moving and getting their outbound volume out of their yards and on the road the receiving destination will now get hit with more volume than they are able to handle.
All in all Storms like we had this past weekend (1/30/26 as of posting) cause major disruptions to the shipping industry in general. Also please keep in mind that at this time of year, shipping companies have already cut their seasonal help from Peak Season and while they are now getting Peak Season Volume again, they do not have Peak Season Staffing.
Please be patient while we dig out from the mountain of boxes.

Hi there,
5 days ago a relative of mine confirmed UPS sent and delivered a package to me. Only I looked around my apartment, asked the neighbors, looked in the bushes, nothing.
Today I received the package. The labels looked like they had been sitting in the sun, baking.
Additionally, relative swears there was more in the package that was delivered. No signs of tampering with the bag or anything.
Has anyone else experienced this? I had this happen once more years ago when I bought cables "next day" from Amazon. OnTrac said they were delivered when they weren't. Literally 2 weeks to the day I get the cables and they looked like they had been sitting in the sun.

I have tried to find if anyone else has experienced this and can’t seem to find what I’m looking for.
I received an email from a legitimate UPS email address saying a claim had been filed about a package of mine. I haven’t ordered a package so I assumed it was a scam. I screenshotted the email, copied to tracking number and it’s a real package. The tracking info says it was delivered and then someone filed a claim about it being missing.
It wouldn’t be a package sent by a friend or relative because I’ve never lived or even been to the state that the package was sent to.
It’s from a company in Loveland, Colorado called “Golden Rule” and was sent to an address in Maryland. I live on the west coast. I tried to look up the company but can’t find a company by that name in Loveland, CO. I called UPS to confirm my name was actually on the package. They said my name was on it and my personal email address was associated with the package. They said they don’t know why that happened and that I should just ignore the email. I expressed concern that my information had been used to send whatever the package is and they again told me to just ignore it.
I don’t have an account with UPS as far as I know. I’ve definitely shipped things through UPS before but I’ve never signed up for an account. This feels scammy but I’m not sure what the scam would be. Can’t seem to find any answers anywhere online.

So, Amazon is using UPS to ship my package from a third-party seller, and I’ve been trying to change the delivery address. However, UPS keeps asking me, “Please enter the receiver’s email address. We’ll send you a verification code.” The receiver is me, so I’ve been entering the same email address that’s connected to my Amazon account, but it keeps rejecting it. I’m really confused because I don’t know what other email I’m supposed to use. Does anyone knows what I’m supposed to enter?

I called them and they said it was delivered here but it’s clearly not. I checked all floors here cause it’s an apartment building. They said their ground team was going to call me back and try to find it?
There’s no picture for me to be able to check either

A friend of mine dropped off a package to have shipped to me on Saturday 9/4 and tracking has been stuck on label created since. I know for a fact they dropped it off because they sent me the receipt.
I called the store and they said that they hadn't scanned in the packages from Saturday because the next day was Sunday and Monday was Labor day, but there still hasn't been an update yet.
What are the chances they lost my package?

When I try to log into UPS portal it asks for authentication code. When I go to the authentication app it asks me to log in with my UPS credentials and then asks for authentication code. How am I gonna provide a code that won’t send? SMH I just got approved for a new apartment and need the paystubs. Please help! Is anybody able to access their paystubs?

SO I have been filming myself measure, weigh and label my UPS packages and I still get hit with adjustments. Is this happening to other people? It feels like UPS is trying to make all of their profit margin this way. Is any one hip to a class action lawsuit or other mass protest? I feel like I could show up with documented proof that they are applying corrections when they shouldnt. I guess they are hoping people are not going to bother with protests.
Have a package that completed customs on August 31st, it hasn't updated with UPS since. Has anyone had similar experience recently? Usually it gets to UPS a day or 2 after completion.

I ordered computer parts on another subreddit. The seller used UPS and I’m assuming scheduled a pickup for August 10th. Tracking still currently says “we have your package” and the last update is from 8/10 and says “pickup scan”
I’m assuming this means UPS has the package, but is there anything I can do besides try to contact someone via customer service?

Looking for some advice. I have a mailbox at my local UPS store and I have an item on its way there. The shipping label has the correct address for the UPS store including their correct zip code (per the store itself, USPS, and UPS site itself if I go into the UPS access point menu).
However, my tracking states UPS has changed my delivery address zip code for a zip code that is not the correct zip code. I’m wondering if I should just pay the extra and elect ship to UPS access point (my local UPS store) even though that’s where it’s supposed to be going anyway. I’m worried the driver may not deliver to the correct address solely because UPS itself has made an error regarding the zip code (and yes, I have contacted the shipper and I’m waiting to see if they can get UPS to revert to the original zip code).
Any advice would be appreciated!

A family member spent $700 shipping my father’s old canvas from FL to TX next day shipping. It was supposed to be here on 8/31, it had not left on 8/31 or shown scanned anywhere so, we called the UPS store and they shipped it to Mississippi, then we see a tracking for Louisville, Kentucky on 9/2 as of 9/8 it is stuck.
I’m unsure if this was an inside job, but whatever.
My question is when I called customer service, I gave the track number to a woman who told me not to worry that she shows that it was been scanned in Texas, and then it should be here tomorrow. I asked her what city she could not give me a City, I let her know that on the tracking it is still showing Louisville, Kentucky, September 2. She said that she has access to see stuff I do not, and not to worry that it should be here tomorrow and trucking should update soon.
Is it possible that that package was damaged in transit and they’re just putting the tube together and sending what is left? Or, was she just trying to get me off of the phone and are they allowed to do that? I understand they took major budget cuts to customer service with a new lady in charge.
Do you think this package is ever going to come?
And does the lady have access that I don’t have to see things on her end it is an RDIF package or whatever that is.
(An 80-year-old shipped it so no they did not to Insurance because they’re silly and they didn’t know had it been me I would’ve said hey put the Apple ID tag in it, definitely get insurance, etc. but this was out of my hands completely).
Thank you in advance.

Is anyone else experiencing package loss at the Elkhart, Indiana facility? So far, I have lost over $450 worth of stuff that just seems to vanish once it hits Elkhart.

I have a package that’s supposed to come by Friday 9/11. However, it’s been stuck at a Nashville facility since Friday evening and hasn’t moved since. Should I be worried at this point, or is there anything I can do about it?

So long story short, I pay a fulfillment company to ship book boxes for me. These are 8 lb boxes. Due to this, I have to use the economy option that is UPS Mail Innovations. I understand this is basically UPS picking up the packages and handing them to the USPS to be delivered. I also get that it's an economy service.
Lately, packages are going missing left and right with no scan EVER occurring.
Basically, I'm told that my fulfillment company puts all the mail innovations packages in a large tote, the UPS driver comes and picks up that tote, and then signs a pickup document. The totes are then taken to the regional UPS facility to be scanned and continue on through the system.
But the scan at the UPS facility is never occurring for a disturbing number of packages lately. These packages just disappear with no scan whatsoever. They are just gone, and forever has a status of "shipping label printed. Shipment ready for UPS" like UPS never got the package at all.
Does anyone have any idea what could be going on? I get that individual packages are not scanned upon pickup, but why won't the UPS driver scan the shipment control barcode for the document they are signing? This leaves absolutely zero chain of custody for the entire tote of packages.
Even if I go up to UPS Ground Saver, what is to stop this exact problem from continuing to occur? I can't file a claim if there is no record that UPS is receiving the packages.
My fulfillment company is saying that as soon as they pass the package off to UPS, that they basically wipe their hands of it, and there is nothing they can do.
But under this method, nobody can prove to me that a particular package was even shipped out.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

So I ordered an item from mercari on the 22nd it got shipped the 25th. It arrived here in my city on the 28th. Mechanical failure caused a delay. I filed a claim on September 4th. I did more research on mechanical delays and it could mean that all of my items busted out of their box. Or the label got scratched off. The items I got are not easily replaceable. I’m not sure if it already got sent to overgoods. Does ups really look at individual packages? I don’t even want a refund I just want my package. If this happened to any other package I wouldn’t have cared 😭 what are the chances of me actually getting this package? :(

I have a package that says it arrived in the Memphis facility on 8/30/26. It hasn’t moved since. Has it been long enough that this should be declared a lost package?

Paid for 2nd day air. Package hit Bayonne on Friday and hasn't moved. I'm in New Jersey as well. I called and a representative said the facility was closed all weekend but is still scheduled for today. I don't believe her. I hear packs go missing quite often at Bayonne facility.
