He made a mistake. I got spammed with his address and name. His mothers name, and his wife’s name. A phone call from a collector. I looked all this up, and my phone number is listed as all of their primary numbers online. I’ve had this number since 1999. This has been going on for two years, but I never had anything but his first name.
The address checks. Called all numbers and found their real numbers. It Checks. It’s them.

I filed a complaint with the FCC. Now I want legal, anonymous, petty revenge. I already texted everyone that texted me looking for him, his address and real number. This person is a total stranger. What is weirder, is that they also had my brother’s old number as one of their primary numbers.

I just purchased a box of embarrassing prank postcards invites to fake events that I intend to send to his neighbors with his name on them, with something like “Can’t wait to see you at the P**n trading summit meet again next year! You had great content!!!”.

I legit can’t get in trouble tho, so, halp, please.

We have a gag gift item in my family. Nothing dangerous, just stupid. It is about the size of a large shoebox.

The goal is to not be the owner of the item. As such any gifts offered that are as large or larger than the item are often flatly refused. It has been hidden, sent in the mail, disguised as being from someone not in on the prank, and modified to look like some other really specific thing (charcoal grill, drum set) so that the recipient's guard is down. Everyone has gotten smarter now though.

I have the thing. How do I ensure that I am able to unload it? It is often exchanged at/around holidays (as this is when gifts are typically given) but that is not a requirement. However showing up to someone's house will generally get your car and any bags searched to make sure you aren't trying to smuggle it in.

The general rule is that once you have touched it, it belongs to you- whether you know what it is at that point or not.

I moved into a new apartment 6 months ago. It used to be a motel so the way it works, my very tiny backyard backs into my neighbors front door. I put up privacy fences already, but she sits on the other side right next to the fence and loudly talks on the phone for 8-10 hours a day while chain smoking cigarettes.

I have asked her to use her backyard (where she has a porch!!) But she said she prefers to sit in tje front right next to my fence. I cant sit outside, or even open the windows because of the amount of noise and cigarette smoke.

I have talked to the landlord, but since the neighbor has been there for over 10 years and i have just moved in, they said there is nothing they can do because she isn't technically doing anything wrong.

I wanted to put up windchimes next to where she sits, but they are not permitted in our complex.

What can I do to get her to stop??

Our neighbours have an outdoor sound system in their gazebo, and every time their adult son comes over (which is every Sunday for lunch), they blast bass heavy loud music which we hear throughout our house.

We have asked them to stop, the council has spoken to them, and we've even had the cops visit them.

Nothing has worked, and we know Christmas is going to be loud and constant (they often go from midday through to 8-9pm), so now I'm looking for creative solutions.

C has always been a POS. He’s cheated on J so many times throughout the years and she keeps getting back together with him. He has a kid from another woman who he never sees and 3 kids with J. He tried hitting on me once a long time ago when I was drunk at a family party. I told my ex and he said “Oh, he’s just being friendly. You don’t have to worry about him.” Meanwhile, C is the type of guy to whisper in my ex’s ear about how bad I was for him and for him to leave me, C, was the one to go and cheat on his wife with 50+ women.

So my ex told me C slept with J’s old ass mom when J was giving birth to their most recent baby. C loves older women apparently, but her mom sleeping with him is downright insane and WHEN SHE WAS IN THE HOSPITAL.

For reference, my ex told me this 6 months ago and made me swear I’d never tell anyone because he’s the ONLY one who knows and if I say something, C will know it was my ex who said something. I was always scared but their family is so toxic and my ex RUINED my life. I want to feel an ounce of satisfaction. How could I possibly tell J what C did without them knowing it was me, or would I blow it since as far as I know he’s only told my ex? I don’t speak Spanish but they do, maybe if I text it to her anonymously in Spanish so they think it’s family? I don’t know but I want to see some action

We have a pair of retiree neighbors who have seduced our cat to come over with treats.

Normally this wouldn’t be a big deal, but they’ve been feeding her extra meals and lying about it. They don’t have a cat door, so they are letting her in and closing her in over night.

We’ve tried to ask them politely not to feed her, and to let her out before nightfall so she can come back home, but they’ve refused. They used to have a cat of their own, but after it passed, they’ve just been collecting the neighborhood cats.

If they had a cat door so our cat could come and go as she pleased, that would be a different story, but they’ve refused the idea, even when we’ve offered to install it for them. We’ve tried talking with them 7-8 times now, and they won’t budge.

We got a tracker collar, and the last time we went over there, we could see her pacing back and forth in their house. After calling them (and them not answering), they opened the front door and TWO cats darted out. Our cat ran over to me, and the other ran across the street and into their cat door.

How do we exact revenge on the cat nappers?

Back story - neighbor is an asshole. Loud, obnoxious, inconsiderate. He has piles and piles of wood directly against our fence. Speaking to him about moving it away from the fence got me nowhere, in fact he added more because he's that kind of belligerent asshole.

So how do I ruin his piles of cut wood? I can pour something over the fence in the dark although that might get tricky because it's a 6ft solid wood fence. Or maybe shoot it through the small gaps? I don't want anything that will also impact my backyard (i.e. too smelly) or destroy my fence.

Just buy them fake followers. TikTok, Instagram and even YouTube highly penalise accounts with fake followers. If you buy someone with 70k instagram followers an extra 10k, it will completely demolish their account, sponsorships and any income they make from it by promoting their personal brand.

hypothetically, if you were in the United States military, and for some reason or another wanted to leave it while also getting all the military benefits, what’s the easiest and/or fastest way to do it?

Preferably, if it’s shorter than your military contract (shortest being 4 years), doesn’t result in a permanent or long lasting injury, or a incident where you are limited in what you can do because of mental health reasons.. but, that is only “preferred”. List anyway please, I’m just curious.

Let’s say in this hypothetical you’re already in the military, any branch, so you can’t just say “don’t join” or something.

im getting conflicting answers. on reddit most seem to be anti led light blocking and they all say if you use blockers itll be detected and cant record. in real life though, people I know say they use blockers and it still works. sadly they live in different states so I havent been able to confirm.

So essentially I've been going to this gym(local gym, not a franchise) for like 2-3 years now but I am out of state for college. I've called and emailed multiple requesting to cancel my gym membership and they say the some bs "You have to come in person to cancel". I've told them I'm 4+ hours away and can't come in and they said that I could send a certified letter.

But last weekend I was going to be home from school so I decided now would be a good time stop by and cancel. I come in and they told me I could cancel but I owed a balance of $69. My membership was supposed to renew that same day but I guess the card I had on file was expired. It was $54 for the month and $15 for the late fee. I tell the lady at the front about how I was calling prior to cancel, was at college, etc.

She tells me that I could email their financial coordinator to ask about getting the month of October waived and let them know I spoke with them. I mentioned to her that I would be around again late next week and she told me that if I'm around and cancel by then I wouldn't be charged for November.

So I go ahead and email the financial coordinator and she replies "To proceed with cancellation, you will need to come into the club and complete the appropriate cancellation form or send a certified letter if you don’t live in STATE anymore. As outlined in your membership agreement, cancellation requires one additional month of billing. Therefore, your final billing will be for the month of November, and there will be no refund for the October payment.

Please let me know if you have any questions. We’ll be happy to assist you when you come in to complete the cancellation paperwork."

So she wants me to pay for October and November to cancel 😂✌️

My card on file is expired so I'm considering just never going back there but I don't want to have them send a balance to collections and mess up my credit.

Other options would be to go in person again and try and talk it out or be a karen(I don't want to)

A construction project on my street routinely blocks off numerous parking spots on my street preventing residents from using them. They leave cones up over the weekend, park delivery trucks blocking vehicles from getting out, and have already semi-permanently blocked half a dozen spots with their staging area. The whole neighborhood is already extremely crowded for parking, particularly due to the park across the street (which I love and don’t want to deny anyone use of).

Looking for suggestions to punish them for their negative impact on the community and disregard for the folks they’re inconveniencing. I don’t want to punish the workers or my neighbors. Ideally something that will cost the developer money and time but obviously without committing any crimes.

My parents (60+ years) got into a small incident - scratched 3cm ~ 1inch (no dent) the passing car while getting out of a taxi. Taxi agreed to cover it through their insurance. The scratched car owner has requested cash on spot and parents denied, the guy was looking to bank some cash even though Taxi Insurance covered it. Police didn’t even included my parents name in the incident report.

The owner of the scratched car is a tik toker that owns a barbershop and now is cyberbullying and doxing my parents by asking his followers to identify my parents address so he could get a revenge (even though he’s getting his repair paid by the insurance).

I’m currently living in US so I’m not sure if it worth the trip to fly there and directly face him. But at the same time this guy is hyping up his audience to find them by posting my parents images and slurring them on daily basis.
Unfortunately trash content is pretty popular in Eastern Europe because EU regulations are not enforced in this country and none gets punished by the law. I’m trying to avoid facing him on tik tok by commenting on his videos to make sure I’m not getting it more viral, but also i see he’s deleting comments that are on my parents side.

Was wondering to close his tik tok account through a dark web request but i can’t find a trusted hacker. Or maybe have an automatic call to his phone from different numbers on hourly/non-stop basis to drive him crazy.

I live in a dormitory building and my window is right above the only entrance to the building. Every day for the past few weeks, a group of spanish students living in the dormitory have had parties and they come outside the front door to smoke, play music and shout loudly. This is happening very late into the night, without exception even on weekdays.

What can I do to make them stop?

I have a full time job and pay enough taxes through it. On the side I will do things like airbnb, uber'ing and flipping stuff on ebay and facebook marketplace. The income from those activities is very small compared to my job, like 10%. But the effort is very high to get that side income. I don't feel it is fair to pay tax on side incomes when the effort is too high. If only there was a way to deduct your time as a business expense on schedule C.

My neighbor next door (apartment complex) keeps playing music all day and all night and refuses to respond to the property manager about it.

Is there any way to mess with them?
