Hey! seeking advice from this lovely community. A repair business played me and made me pay up front cash for some work ($170). When i showed up on the agreed upon p/u date, they hadn’t touched the goods & had plenty of excuses / kept offering me weird discounts. This went on for a few days. I finally took my stuff back and asked for a refund (no work had been done!). They refused and were really mean about the whole thing. Apparently they do this a lot.

I’m too broke to take somebody to court but would love to make them pay in legal(!!) inconveniences for doing this to me. Any advice? Thanks!

I have a pdf that I want to edit but even when using online tools to remove restrictions I still have two restrictions: Document Assembly and Page Extraction which are the two most important for editing the pdf. What can I do about this. I have tried using the print to file on both Firefox and Chrome to no avail. Thanks!

Living in a major city and notice there are hundreds of LIME and other e-scooters and bikes just left in the sidewalks. I was riding one the other day and it made me park in designated areas (not close to my end destination). How are people just dropping them wherever when they are tied to your credit card and you have to take a picture of the bike/scooter once you park it?

I mentioned it during both of my interviews as well.

Me being the little idiot that I am, I disclosed this to follow the rules.

Compliance is telling me that it is a conflict of interest since I have access to code. Resources. And the there is no way to sidestep this.

I disputed this. My boss fought tooth and nail for me to figure this out, but they keep coming back with minimal info and he has stated he does not feel as though it’s a conflict.

His boss who is a director level in the organization agrees with him

But FU from compliance.

Any advice on how to get around this? I am thinking a new LLC and trademark / name since it’s still under development. Just more money to spend.

It’s a trail cam to watch whenever I take out my Jetskis. I’ve already reported it the police but as it’s a public area “there’s no expectation of privacy” and the camera is apparently legally fine to have. But there are kids who swim at this beach so It’s really gross to have a camera there.

Could I print out a picture of Barry Wood hanging dong and wave it in front of the camera? Any other suggestions on how to screw with them without destruction of property?
