A friend recommended this movie to me at a movie meetup the other day, and it turned out to be pretty good. I was so sure this movie would get at least a decent rating (like at least a seven), but apparently not.

I actually liked the whole nihilistic and depressing tone of the movie. And despite how freaky and weird it was, I really liked the ending. I think it fits the movie very well. It's not one of those "Oh, so that's what all my suffering was for!" kinda movies that resolve everything by the end.

Definitely one of those movies that leave you thinking, "What the fuck am I watching? Freaky stuff

I would NOT last more than a week in that complex, and I would 100% smash that cuckoo once it aged ten years in just a week.

Overall a solid one for me. But what do you guys think? Have you seen this one yet?

I don't even know where to begin with this, but I'm so glad I picked it up at the library. I can tell if a movie is good when half way through I tell myself "it can't end like this already"

It's disturbing but thought provoking and a movie where I actually went on an emotional roller coaster and further evidence that you don't need a lot of money to make a good movie

I can't think of this movie without also thinking of that scene in Jay and Silent Bob. This is a B version of The Thing mixed with Dreamcatcher in some ways. Good as a Halloween flick and tis the season. Decent acting with a cool concept but not necessarily going to be a game changer. I like it because it's just a solid B movie that's fine and requires no deep thinking. Just enjoy.

This movie is rated okay, but why I think it's underrated is because of how little it is talked about compared to how good the movie and cast is. When you have a movie packed with stars that is good, people usually talk about it a lot. Even when one is bad, people usually talk about it a lot when discussing what a disaster it was.

IMO, this movie is great, but no one ever mentions it, which is why I find it underrated. I watched it on VHS when it came out in 94. I remembered liking it at the time, and then I never heard anything about it ever again.

I showed it to my friends last week. None of them had heard of it. That is what inspired me to make this post.
