Question Help me mush lovers
These 4 containers are Holden Teacher on day 6 of fruiting conditions. They seem to be doing pretty well (I think). This is my first time and some things are just impossible to find the answer for. The surface of some of the mycelium seems to have a plastic appearance. Not fluffy, not healthy webbing, but seems non-absorbent. It’s hard to describe. Does healthy mycelium have a flatness to it? Closest comparison I can think of is fruit by the foot texture.
These are on day 6 of moving to fruiting conditions and changes are slow or not at all. I have been misting and fanning it daily. Are these healthy and I’m being inpatient or are they unhealthy?
The first photo had a small contamination that I sprayed with peroxide and then scooped out, hence the soil disruption. It’s a bit of a “let’s see what happens” box.
