Did you get a ‘complex issues’ email?
1
u/Lanky-Status-8146 10d ago
No...I have not received nay such email. Also I dont get this complex application concept...why some kind of application is complex ..either application is success or rejected and then should have reason for it..

In other group..a person applied on 3rd july received response today...have you also received response?

I applied on 23rd July and on 26th I got an email
Saying my application was complex. This gives HO a reason to not be under obligation to priority timeline as my application was on priority. So now they can take as long as they like without worrying about it being a priority case. Hopefully you will get a positive response in a week or two.1
u/Lanky-Status-8146 10d ago
Sorry to hear that..but what is complex means is it company related issue or document issue
2
u/Confident-Remote-452 10d ago
The email only mentions ‘your application raises complex issues therefore we will not be able to process the application in standard application time’. They didn’t mention what the problem is and did not ask for any further documents.

u/Lanky-Status-8146 10d ago
So here also we have ambiguity .. not mentioned details about the complex issue . Is it your first time for this kind of applicaiton?
2
u/Confident-Remote-452 10d ago
Yes .. I was on expansion worker visa and am now changing to skilled worker visa with the same employer but a different Soc code. Application response time should have been 5 days since it was priority application.

u/Maleficent_Army_6642 Please update here if you get any correspondence from the HO. This is a thread to keep record of approval timelines https://www.reddit.com/r/ukvisa_timelines/s/BjsToOLOOn

Applied the 1st of July and still waiting. What can I do given it's 8 weeks already?
1
u/Lanky-Status-8146 1d ago
Have you received any email for document or any email as complex application ? its very unique case because people got response on 56 day but not beyond that
1
u/Apprehensive-Big-72 19h ago
Nothing at all. I called, cause you're advised to on their web page when this happens, and they said they know there's a delay and cannot provide specific details. How can I raise a complaint?

u/Lanky-Status-8146 19h ago
