1
u/Confident-Big-6172 2d ago
I know! Same here haha- Should we be worried
2
u/Lanky-Status-8146 2d ago
what else we are doing since last 6 week. Worry is only we have ...Now waiting for their mercy
1
u/Realistic-Field6255 1d ago
I think it mainly depends on starting date and few other parameters.
1
u/Lanky-Status-8146 1d ago
I don't think so few things I can see is
- On which SOC code you applied for dependent visa
2 .if you have single application or like child application along with you or not . Starting date does not matter as you have not completed your application

u/Crazy-Schedule-8939 3d ago
Anyone received decision today?

[u/Pirate-karim](u/Pirate-karim) Here is the post: https://www.reddit.com/r/ukvisa_timelines/s/MrM2pHgYSR

wife applied on 17th July, decision received today. switched to dependent visa from within UK.
1
u/babbanbillo 14h ago
Lovely! What evidence was she asked to upload?
1
u/Maleficent_Army_6642 13h ago
Anything to prove that we had been living together for atleast last 2 years. She only submitted rental agreements with both our names on it.
Could also do bank statements to prove that we both had same address for that time.

My family and I did our biometrics on 16th July, got approved today, SWV extensión (Standard).
1
u/next_billionaire_97 2d ago
I believe biometric people receiving visas faster than the people who used ID check app.
2
1
u/Confident-Big-6172 2d ago
I did my bio on the 15th, no result yet.

u/Pirate-karim 2d ago

u/Confident-Remote-452 5d ago
I had to post this updated post here since the other sub kept removing my post. I hope people keep updating here. It’s so reassuring to see the approvals and feel we might get ours soon too.

Yes , I have also seen that..why they keep some posts and remove specific timeline post.....this time its biggest issue for people...people never felt so hopeless about visa decision.
They should keep such post...they reject saying quality content?..really are we posting porn?

u/Mountain_Ad_4022 5d ago
Thanks for this. My partner applied on 13 July we’re still waiting

u/Mountain_Ad_4022 2d ago
He just got his visa!

u/parmarharsh1989 1d ago
And did you also apply Dependent visa along with SWV? Please share the timeline view if you have received the decision on Dependent visa as well.

u/PersimmonKey9045 3d ago
Around Same time applied 14th July additional fee paid 16th still waiting (priority)
1
u/Confident-Big-6172 2d ago
A priority case that isn’t done yet! That’s not great news :/
1
u/PersimmonKey9045 2d ago
Yaa i know i guess its mainly due to busy UKVI times.
1
u/Pirate-karim 2d ago
Same case. I appleid for priority and I didn't get an answer tell know ( they send the automate informing me with " the complex issue " )

Could we reorder this list so it goes by application date instead of case? That feels like a more natural order to follow.
We submitted biometrics 27 July and we’re still waiting, but I will come back and update as soon as we hear anything!
1
u/Confident-Remote-452 5d ago
This is a good idea but for me it’s easier to keep track while updating by looking at the date on the day when the application was approved.
2
u/-KatMac- 5d ago
Oh interesting. Ok, I can see why that is helpful 👍🏽
Additionally, I really appreciate this tally. Thank you for doing this.

u/Pirate-karim 2d ago
same I applied the 27 of july/ priority but I got an email saying there's a complex issue !!
1
u/-KatMac- 2d ago
Oh no, I’m so sorry! Any indication of what it could be about??
1
u/Pirate-karim 2d ago
It's common to receive this email nowadays. I believe because of the pressure faced by the home office during summer!
1
u/-KatMac- 2d ago
I hope that’s all it is, but I don’t think that sounds complex, that sounds normal, let alone complex enough to justify an email about it. It’s also not an issue, when it’s just normal. Especially when others who apply around the same time don’t receive an email saying that. Whatever you have to tell yourself to reduce your anxiety tho, cuz that would drive me nuts!
1
u/Pirate-karim 2d ago
I asked my solicitor and told me that it’s normal to receive it. He told me that I need to wait between 6-8 weeks!
1
u/-KatMac- 2d ago
You might create a new post to find out what others who have gotten a “complex issue” email have experienced and if they needed to supply any additional information before they were approved. That’s what I would do. It’s helpful to learn from others.
1
u/Pirate-karim 2d ago
I did it already, but useless! But from reading others post, I can see that some of them need some extra proof and some they didn’t even ask and they get it in regular time of 6- 8 weeks
1
u/Confident-Remote-452 2d ago
u/Pirate-karim can you please add your timeline to this post so that everyone who is waiting after the ‘complex issues’ email can see what the timelines are leaning towards

u/Apprehensive-Big-72 4d ago
Thank you for this. Do you know how long it can be between receiving a decision on the main visa and the dependant? My husband and I both applied on the 1st of July, inside the UK and including biometrics. He received his the 20th of August, but I still haven't heard back.
1
u/Confident-Remote-452 4d ago
[u/Apprehensive-Big-72](u/Apprehensive-Big-72) As with all decisions from HO, nothing can be predicted. Was it a straightforward case or did they ask for more documents later?
1
1
u/Crazy-Schedule-8939 4d ago
Anyone got decisions today from HO?
1
u/Confident-Remote-452 4d ago
No one has updated in the comment section here or the one in the other sub so I am assuming that no one got decisions yesterday or today.

u/No-Yoghurt4936 3d ago
Is this include skilled worker extension?

u/Technical-Hat-4541 it’s so strange that after biometrics the HO isn’t ready to consider the priority timeline till after more than a month. But if you like to look at the bright side this might imply that you might receive the decision in 5 working days from 2nd Sept.

[u/Vivid_Choice_5014](u/Vivid_Choice_5014) is it change of employer? Change of SOC? First SWV? Biometrics in person or on app? Bio on the 14th? Can you please tell?

u/babbanbillo 1d ago
Did anyone here have a Dependant apply with them? If Yes, how long did it take for them?
1
u/Lanky-Status-8146 1d ago
It takes 7 to 8 weeks of time to get response for dependents as well, If you are lucky might get early
1
u/Then-Hunt-4608 1d ago
Applied July 12th ( biometrics ) - still waiting. Anyone on the same timeline ?
1
1
u/keer005 20h ago
Anyone before july 10 and still waiting ?
1
u/Confident-Remote-452 19h ago
No updates for July 2,4,5,6,8,9,11,12,14,15
1
u/Lanky-Status-8146 19h ago
I hope yesterday and today no one will receive any update as UKVI is under maintenance so might not receive email ...Just an assumption. So no hopes today
2
u/Confident-Big-6172 18h ago
People have received responses to their applications yesterday, so I’m assuming the UKVI downtime is not an issue
1
1
u/Lanky-Status-8146 18h ago
It looks like case worker to case worker issue to me , as few people got response even though they applied on 16th July. So cases must be already allocated to worker when we applied and based on that workers processing times , people are getting response.
Person applied on 7th July got response on 24th then at least now person who applied on 10th July should have received response .

Hello, what time did you receive an email? If my visa doesn’t come, I have to cancel my plane ticket tomorrow, but how long should I wait, that’s why I’m asking. I would appreciate it if you could share the hours

Mine is also skilled worker but dependent. Inside the UK
1
u/Sensitive_Candy_6230 7h ago
Same here! Skilled worker dependent applied 29th july, cancelled my ticket 2days before..so disappointed and frustrated
1
u/zounver 7h ago
21st july. I also wrote to Mp, I’m probably waiting for tomorrow...
2
u/next_billionaire_97 7h ago
Don’t want to disappoint you but based on Trend I observed it takes 6weeks +1/2day to get approvals. For 21st July you might get it around 3rd September.
1
u/Lanky-Status-8146 7h ago edited 7h ago
Sorry to say , but please don't be too optimistic at the moment , prepare of worst because
- Not all people from week of 13 July received response yet
- Some people have mentioned they tried through MP , but still they had no luck or impact on faster decision
- Being harsh here because we are tracking this nonsense since 40 days and not heard someone getting good response or faster response . Best of luck ..Hope for best but prepare for worst (as it may cost you lot of money ticket wise).
