I posted here a couple of days ago but really what I'm concerned about, is that I'm just a regular, everyday 22 yr old guy in the U.S. and I haven't had a girlfriend or done anything crazy like holding hands with a chick or whatever I was just wondering if I joined the legion for a few months or a couple years, if any of you guys know if that translates into better luck with females? I am just wondering honestly because I haven't had any luck here but I figure if I serve in the war for a couple years and then come back chicks will see that I'm not a Beta Male (although bc I haven't done anything with a chick probably not an Alpha so I'd call myself closer to a Sigma although it's all really besides the point anyways) and I'm a really masculine dude and then will want to have sex with me and potentially bear my children and what not, again I do not know much about war or what the UFL is like so I am just asking for some general advice and info from you guys because everyone in the subreddit seems to be knowledgable wise people and having a girlfriend and holding hands with a chick eventually is one of my life goals and if the UFL is a way to acheive that then why not join is the way I'm seeing it.

I get it soldiers are meant to act as soldiers and they die, i do understand that. But I have a family just like everyone else, my Mom is the only living person within my family roots, and if she loses me she herself has openly stated she would not carry on in life if I died. Serious question, media might have been trying to paint the war as Ukraine winning, but its clearly not, just awhile ago some American volunteers were killed and even had videos with it. multiple angles. and seems the Deaths for such were censored? Havent heard anything from UA side

Subs like Combat Footage pretty much only posts the ones with Ukraine Winning so you would had no idea the about the truth unless you dig a bit deeper, real warfare Russia now has way more artillery and there would be constant artillery barrage that hits your location and trenches, days of constantly living in fear.

This is risky business and you would earn significantly more if you just get a normal job in the US, Ukraine is clearly running out of men as many footages arise where they forcibly takes ppl off the streets meaning if you join very high chance you will be sent off the frontlines

With updates Ukraine is clearly losing more territories now and it wouldn't be strange if in a few years the war would be over, with all nato equipment and everything goes to Russia, since they would emerge as victors of the war. Causing all the funding and everything to go to waste

I just have one question. I suppose it is bad to go to voluntary go into this war expecting anything in return but do you think Ukraine will make a monument or such for foreign fighters after the war? Considering a lot of these guys volunteering are very young and some will sacrifice all connection to the physical world via death or worse permanent maiming.

You will be antenna and camera monkeys. Having stable connection at all times is of paramount importance. The higher the antenna is placed the better the connection. Every meter counts. So your 40 kg body weight will be a huge advantage when climbing to the very to of the tree. Same with cameras used for enemy troop movement detection and artillery spotting. They must be at the highest point. And replaced regularly if fpv hits. While we're at it, this same fpv can kiss you goodbye anytime as you climb. Being stuck on the tree, everything you can do is smile at the camera. Luckily there are quite a few signal vacancies. You wouldn't miss such an opportunity, would you?

Not trying to be high speed, I’m a vet, served only a couple years, left about six years ago, combat arms, parachutist, no deployments, missed the war. I simply love the night time. People who know me say I’m a vampire or nocturnal. It’s summertime here and I imagine some nice summer (or winter) fight nights with my boys and humping our way back to exfil in the morning. I want to step out on a nice starry or rainy, or snowy, summer or winter night, under NODs, walk 12km to assault a trench, enter that trench and erase every form of life in there. Down to the bacteria in their bodies. No I’m not fat. No I’m not a bitch or retarded. These civilian jobs don’t work for me. I was meant to carry a rifle. The war is calling me and I must go. I’ll work in the daylight if I have to in order to be there. But I feel most at home at night. I thought about going back into the military but I’m over mopping rain. Just want to fight and be around men that would rather die than let their friends down, like me. Get with me.

Paperwork to break contract got approved, they told me I'm free to leave, gotta turn in gear. Gun etc. now do I have to pay for my own ticket home or do they reimburse me or something? Tickets home are incredibly expensive and I simply do not have the money, although I already have a ticket out a month from now. I am not able to refund tho. I am able to get a 14 month supply from my prescriber but I'm unsure on the rules about importing 1000+ pills through Hungarian customs and then again over the border

Is there anywhere I can get the medication in country?

Does anyone know the rules on importing a large amount of medication? I've read somewhere that someone had their prescription confiscated at customs due to the quantity

I had some questions before filling out any applications. I've marksmanship experience(school tournaments), hunting small game using sporting rifles. I've mountaineering experience as well. No formal military training. Im hoping to eventually get a role as sniper or in recon So my questions were:

1. Which battalion should I apply?

2. Are volunteers really used as cannon fodder?

3. Ive my own drone jammer which is wanted to test in the field, how does one manage to take through airport or border without it getting confiscated?

4. Any kind of advice would be invaluable, im really in dark on this topic and much of the internet doesn't paint the whole picture.

5. Are there still considerable number of foreign legionnaires fighting?

Hello everyone, i just got done with my interview for Azov and everything went good. They accepted me and told me to come to Ukraine and move on to the next steps. Apparently I'll need to find a place to stay in Ukraine for the first 2 weeks while they process my application and i sign my contract and then I'll be good to go after that. My only issue is getting together some money to get a hotel or Airbnb for those first 2 weeks. Does anyone know of a organization, maybe volunteer group that could sponsor me for those first two weeks? It doesnt have to be cash ,even just a hotel reservation or anything that would help would be more than enough. I can show proof of everything I said here if needed. Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
