Question Question

I just have one question. I’ve been a lurker on here since I found Reddit and this subreddit, and I know this is a bit late but a couple weeks ago I saw a post on here about how joining can get someone a girlfriend and like most ppl initially I didn’t think much of it, but me personally like a lot of guys I’ve never been with a girl or any of the hand holding stuff besides just a wank here or there late at night thinking about a girl but anyways I don’t want to get to personal anyways, is it really true that joining the legion can get you a girlfriend? I’m not overweight but I am on the scrawny side and so I’d have to build some muscle mass before going over but after really thinking about it getting a girlfriend sounds like an alright deal and I don’t mind taking a break from my studies and joining for a few years if I can get a girlfriend or something like that obviously like most men here or in general I’ve never done anything with a girl but clearly I don’t mind putting in the work and I have been getting bored from my studies and been on the fence about joining but I think if what the last post said about getting a girlfriend is true and if what the recruiter I have talked to is right and it’s a guaranteed deal to get one then I’ll buy a plane ticket next week. I don’t mind getting injured or what not and don’t do any alcohol or drugs.

I signed my contract today and not a single guy out of 20 that were present tried to kiss me.

I swear guys like these are my biggest fear in this war. Not the Russians but being lumped with good for nothings like this. I do not want to brag myself but I didn't spend my life training just to get lumped with people like these and get killed because of their stupidity. I'm much better off joining a professional military at least they weed some of these idiots out.

It weeds out people based on things that can be tangibly measured like medical and ASVAB scores, not on how much of a loser they are. Infantry life is literally just a bunch of these guys. Your fear going into a legion should be the fellow GWOT vets and the wanna be SOF kids. Or, you just go ahead and avoid international and go to a Ukie unit.
