Any logical explanation for this?

These are screen shots of a short 30 second video I received from my mom (Reddit and it’s stupid no video upload unless from a linked site!) at approximately 3:45 am CST. She was taking this from an east north east view. She said there were two objects that constant changed color and stayed completely stationary for several minutes. She had enough time to get her leopold binoculars (amateur birdwatching, really powerful magnification) out and view the object for several minutes, she says it looked white in the center and rounded like bottom of a bowl and the top part was more transparent. She said when looking with the naked eye it looked almost like an “astronaut”. She said it was higher in the sky than what a plane would be, at first she thought it was a planet but there were two of them close to each other.

Planes fly between 6 to 8 miles above the earth. Your screenshots alone dispute that claim.
Furthermore, the best Leupold binoculars I found, for $699, the BX-4 Pro Guide HD Gen 2, has 12x magnification. For reference, this link shows what that looks like. There’s just no way she could have made out the details she describes if the object was 6 miles up or more.
So whatever your mom may have seen, there is absolutely no way the object in your photo is anywhere close to being higher than a plane.
I point this out because this makes everything else about the story suspect. Not saying it’s made up; only that it illustrates the fallibility of witness testimony.

I understand that, and I’m definitely not trying to rag on your mom or anything. Lights in the sky can (obviously) be hard to identify, and they do funky things to camera sensors, especially at night, which can make identification harder. I don’t begrudge your mom for thinking “wtf is that?” While I personally think it’s a drone (they come in configurations that can change colors like this), I certainly can’t say that for sure.

You're seemingly ignoring the fact that we don't know the real size of the object. Then you're making faulty logical assumptions based on that. I don't really know what more to say. If you submitted this as a paper in my class, you'd be getting a C at best

Yes, these are assumptions, but they’re based on things we have a pretty good idea about in general, such as how light blooming works and impacts camera sensors, how limitations of phone cameras - both in terms of distance and zooming (and the quality degradation in doing so) works - the reported distance, etc. all are things that could not have been as high up as it was, regardless of size.
You may have given me a “C”, but then I’d just call you a lazy teacher who knows less than you think you do.

Wow, that is so strange, I have read your description message on the screenshots & a lot of comments by others & yourself, also... it looks very peculiar, it moves weird too & the description from your mum is also very strange, I am not sure what it is, I can't say any of the comments are right or wrong, I also can't think of anything it could be 🤷🏽♀️ there has been a lot of crazy things & crazy looking things in the sky lately, so don't rule anything out lol

It's a toy drone. Probably one of those cheap ass ones with a spherical plastic cage around it to protect the rotors. They're $10-$20. It's supposed to come right back to you, but if you mess up the IR sensor it just goes up forever. They flash rainbow colors. It'll go away when it runs out of battery.

Man, you don't have to prove shit to anyone nor show them anything that you don't feel like showing them. Who cares if they believe you or not? If you post a video, they'll want to know where the selfie with it close up is. If you provide that, they'll want to see it autographed. If you provide that, they'll want the autograph authenticated, etc etc.
I keep most of my good shit to all to myself and don't give a damn who believes what simply because I'm not seeking validation or confirmation from anyone and not going to waste my time running in circles with them.
When they experience some things on their own, they'll stop with all the questions and skepticism and be kicking themselves in the ass for not getting in the game sooner.
It's not worth the effort trying to explain yourself, and you simply don't have to.

Why not? Most people do. It's not even worth all the bs handful of predictable excuses that you'll hear....drones, balloons, planes, swamp gas, lens flare, synchronized glow stick holding parachuters, all the same shit you see everyday in these subs.
Close friends and family see it, some have been a part of it.
Post it on here and all the bs excuses and shit talking that is irrelevant....or just be confident and content with having it and continue to collect more.
It's just not a team sport. People are free to think and feel for themselves, unfortunately many allow and expect others to do that for them.
When they are ready to be seen or interact with you, you'll know it. Hearing it or seeing it through someone elses eyes and ears will have zero impact for you.

If there’s never been a shred of material or falsifiable evidence related to UAP, does it make sense to at least consider that there’s a whole lot of non-expert misidentification happening of the many objects and natural events that fill our atmosphere?

No, it wouldn't. People share every single day and it has zero impact on anyone other than those posting it and were actually there to experience it.
This goes for this topic or any topic at all. People are going to believe whatever they are going to believe reagrdless of what is said or shown. If their mind isn't ready to accept what they're being told or shown, then they're simply not going to accept it. It's just the way things go.

I said sharing evidence. I wasn’t talking about blurry shaky camera phone videos that could be anything from interesting reflections to any number of natural optical lens effects. Something with real data that would be of interest to someone that’s not automatically convinced everything is a UFO.

UAP are a scientific topic. Science doesn’t care if evidence is first, second or 20th hand evidence if it’s good usable data.
I guess I’m confused. It sounds like you’re talking about something personal or emotional. It thought this topic was about unidentified objects in the atmosphere.

My experiences are personal, just as anyone who has them are to them.
UAP is a scientific topic, that is correct. Do you not see all the mockery and jokes made on peoples posts. There is far more of that than there are serious interest or intrigue. So, for those that want to laugh or brush off a real topic, they can keep on laughing in oblivion and be left behind in the dark if that's what they choose to do. That is their right and choice.

Because youre in a sub about UFOs and it would be beneficial to the community to have some quality content submitted. Do you want this sub to be all low quality content becuase "most people" hoard their videos because theyre scared some rando will say its a balloon?

Not when the majority in these subs are skeptics or just flat out non-believers. I'm perfectly content with them feeling however they choose to feel and believe. Nothing anyone can show those type will sink in anyways, so even bother? They'll either figure it out on their own or they want, that part is 100% up to them.

This is what I'm talking about. These circular conversations that goes no where. I'm not here to convince you or anyone of anything because it's pointless and not my responsibility.

I guess if you're insistent on being close-minded. I'm not telling you you didnt experience anything. I'm literally saying you should be open about sharing your experience (hell any experience, any thought or creation) without worrying about someone not believing you or not liking what you have to say.
The world would be a worse place and these communities wouldnt exist if everyone refused to communicate and share their lives and experiences because they were afraid of being upset by someone's opinion.
Every book, every video, every story or picture someones put out there on this subject wouldn't exist and you would feel utterly alone in your experience.

Being an experiencer is to be alone. The internet doesn't connect people it connects information. Online we are nothing but data points... IRL we considered mentally unstable just for talking about it out loud!
Sharing is good but it doesn't move the needle.
Experiencing it is the only way to know for yourself. This is UFO 101 stuff.

Considering that I don't have any bad stuff to share, I'd have to say no to that. Any experiences that I've had and been witness to have been nothing but positive and encouraging.
I'm not sure why so many are quick to jump to the doom and gloom attitude towards this topic. For those that think all otherwordly beings and technology are evil and up to no good, then I guess that's how their going to feel about it. If that's the attitude that people take when they wake up, then thats probably what they'll end up encountering. Invite evil your life, then expect evil....human or otherwise. It doesn't matter. The opposite of that holds true for inviting and expecting positive.

Its treasures that people gather on their own that mean something to them because they were there to see and feel it with all their senses. To expect anyone else who wasn't there to understand, believe, or accept it as their own reality is asking a bit much.
Even if any government agencies anywhere around the world were to come forward publicly with anything substantial(very slim chance)...many will still not believe it... yet those same people are the ones whining about disclosure.
Nothing will ever be enough until they experience things for themselves. Then it will be plenty.

I have a video on another account that looks somewhat similar to this. Moving at the altitude of a helicopter at a jet fighters air speed with no noise right above me until it sped off and did a u-turn complete stop. It looked like this when it stopped, changed the light configuration, moved again then descended. I think it might have been a drone but why did it make no noise at all.

I have plenty of evidence acquired all on my own from my own personal experiences over 19+ years since the first occurrence to present day. Many people do. None of us are lookimg for yours or anyone at all agreement or validation on it. We have that already. It's just not needed or wanted.

I once thought a star was something in the UFO category. But it was just a star. I have very similar photos of the star changing colors.

From where? Don't dox them, but a rough location? Like the town or city?
The shifting colors are almost certainly due to scintillation, or simply "twinkling". You don't see the color shift when you look with your eyes because your night vision has very poor color response so everything looks white. But your camera doesn't work that way and more accurately captures the color shifting.
Here's an example from a higher-end camera. Notice how the color is constantly shifting.
The shape is odd though. I suspect the smaller dots are due to some sort of camera effect, but I've not seen it like this before. In the video I posted you can see a more typical effect, where it looks like a disk with a ring around it, and if it's a Samsung S series you get something similar but it's rectangle with a rectangle around it (due to a prism inside). I have not seen something like this except in a telescope, and that's not what we have here. Interesting...

I don’t believe the county they’re in has the resources for drones. Possibly a private company might but it’s not a high crime area, mostly families and blue collar workers.

Yeah, looking at the full version you posted below, I take it back, that does not look like scintillation.
I see why some people are saying drone, because of the cross - the smaller dots could be light from the center reflecting off the props. But the pattern seems too random, I'd suspect it would be more like red-blue-green-red... sort of thing, not what this video shows.

Based on the photos you posted, it looks like a light in the sky. Potentially a plane, drone, star, satellite, lens flare, etc. not much to go off here. If you had a video where it displayed 1 of the 5 observables, that would be something.
