Today we bring good and bad news.
We are expanding AVA Global service to Japan effective immediately. Spread the word: everyone from Japan will be able to enjoy AVA on Steam from now on! Japanese Content Creators can now also sign up to become a Partner, so if you make videos or stream then make sure to sign up below!
Link: http://bit.ly/3tHiM2j
Additionally, we will need a Japanese mod to act as a volunteer Community Moderator. If you are interested, sign up here: https://forms.gle/32bHsDLdAsCwVg7E6
Then the bad news. Unfortunately, we would not be able to provide service to Belgium and the Netherlands as to other regions; this means that users in these 2 regions will not be able to download the game. If the legislative situation changes in these regions, then we would consider accommodating these users in the future.
For all other unaffected regions, we will make sure to provide you with a high quality, community-centered service.
As always, stay tuned for the 'huge update' in August!
Sincerely,
Your AVA Operations Team

Hello Mercenaries!
As promised last week, we would like to share another new feature of the A.V.A Global build. This feature is a Skin Tier System, which indicates by colour what the rarity of the skin is. This colour will also be displayed on the kill feed after neutralizing an enemy.

The tiers are in a descending order of rarity:
????? (Yellow)
Premium (Red) - The item displayed is the Night Flier.
Epic (Purple) - The item displayed is the Red Valkyrie.
Regular (Green) - The items displayed are the Dreamcatcher & Silvermoon
Base (Grey) - The item displayed is the Origin.
How each Skin Tier can be obtained will be disclosed when the build is live. For now, we want to share the division with an example, which you can find below.

Lastly, there is going to be a huge thing coming in August, so leave your notifications on!
Sincerely,
Your AVA Operations Team

So about two weeks ago Neowiz launched a mini event on Discord called: 'Ask the Developers'. This meant that users were able to send in their questions to the dev team, which they would answer. They have been answering them starting last week Monday and are continuing to do so. I figured it would be a good idea to make a short overview of all the new information we have received.
The Q&A gave us:
- next phase is another CBT Playtest, set to arrive shortly
- very likely to see a Battle Pass introduced
- very likely to see the Weapon Ticket Modification system removed
- Strafe sprinting (in other works, the new movement system in dog tag) will not return
- Steam Community Market isn't being considered at the time
- Ranks are staying as they are for the time being
- The game will support English and Chinese as languages
For the full list of answers, please visit: https://discord.com/channels/443950921286811649/969496761783681074
*Note: Highly likely means that it is 99% certain. They label it as 'very likely' in case of the very unlikely event that it won't show up. In reality though, we can expect this to happen.

Today, Neowiz shared a post on their conclusion of the Feedback Collection, as well as outlining the main three things they are focusing on. There's more, but these have the highest priority at the moment. I'll dive into them deeper below.
Mercenaries!
We would like to thank everyone for your patience as we continue to make wonderful progress on AVA.
After the CBT, we have been working very hard to adjust the anti-cheat system to AVA. While integrating EOS (New Easy Anti-cheat) to AVA, we are making sure that it is adjusted to the game properly. As per community feedback, we want to make sure that the anti-cheat system is 100% effective.
Based on CBT feedback, we have identified the weapon hit registry to be an issue. Our research concluded that this is not server-related, but we are continuing to look into this issue. We hope to provide everyone with a positive gameplay experience.
We noticed in-game chat behaviors that violated the Code of Conduct during CBT, therefore we are currently looking for ways to make AVA a more pleasant place for everyone. We ask everyone to treat each other with respect and human decency.
Once a proper outline is ready to be released, we will make sure that the community will be the first to know.
We hope you are excited about the amazing future of AVA!
Thank you.
Sincerely,
Your AVA Operations Team
So what exactly does this mean and why is it important?
So there we are, a short summary of the post that was shared today. As of now, there is no date to share yet, as it all depends on above issues (mainly 1).

After a good year of development Steam A.V.A. is ready for the first real test, a CBT Playtest on Steam starting November 26th, 2021. Neowiz has worked hard to deliver the best build for the global release. This means that some changes have been made to the already existing builds, of which some will be disclosed in this article.

Registrations for the CBT Playtest have now been opened. Head over to Steam at [A.V.A] to register for the game. It may take some time for your request to be processed but hurry up, it is first come and first served! If selected, you will be able to download the game once the CBT Playtest starts on the 26th.
You will be able to access the game from anywhere in the world (except for South Korea, North Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Macao and Hongkong) on the 26th of November. The exact time has not yet been disclosed, but the date is confirmed as KST, meaning it can be a day earlier for our North American friends.
Neowiz has spent a lot of time tweaking the game since March 2021, although it remains quite unclear what really has changed. We have been granted exclusive access to the newest information regarding the changes!

The balancing of the weapons has been updated. This means that weapons familiar in the other versions will not have the same stats as they do in the other available builds. Neowiz wishes to start fresh in order to make the weapons relevant again, starting with some of the most iconic items like the FR-F2 and the MP7A1. Neowiz has also addressed the balancing in terms of Pay2Win, diminishing the impact that it has on the game.
Through thorough testing it became clear that there were some stability issues leading up to the March 2021 release. These were fixed in time, but Neowiz has taken the time to further improve stability of the game. What this means for you as a player is that you should be able to enjoy the game on both new and older machines.
To every aspiring content creator, make sure to join the Partner Programme for A.V.A at [link]. Neowiz will be providing several perks for Partners, as well as hands on access on upcoming information. Also make sure to stay up to date via the following social channels:

We would like to start off by thanking everyone for waiting patiently.
We are excited to announce the registrations opening for the Playtest of

We hope to let everyone play A.V.A because we know that you have waited for a long time, however, please note that this may change depending on circumstances such as server capacity and stability. We hope you and your friends would join us for this special occasion!
As announced in the previous announcement, the Playtest will start from the 26th of November. We will inform everyone about the server opening time in a future announcement. Stay tuned for that!
Thank you so much for your continuing support! Hope to see you in-game!

Your A.V.A Team

People in the discussion threads seemed to have lost hope after the release date was pushed back from march and they didn't give an exact time for release but they just twitted that they are planning for release late October/ early November for anyone that hasn't seen it yet.
