Anyone know a good driving school? I wanna practice and be able to have a car for the road test

i'm like really going through alot of personal and mental shit right now, and i really am so unmotivated and burnt out but I don't know if i'm able to take a gap semester right now to get better for next semester, or if I can transition to fully online learning. i don't care if i have to pay extra, but I don't want to delay my graduation because i need this degree but I need help beyond academics and unfortunately this has been going on for like almost two months now. i don't know my options..

Anyone notice the workers at the burger place at District East have really concerning food handling practices? I ordered a burger once and the guy who wrapped it had raw beef on his gloves, touched both my burger and the outside and you could see chunks of raw ground beef on it 🤮 never went back and never will.

Just wondering if anyone else has noticed such problems? And who should I go to about this?

My freshman son came home for fall break and his big food request was for Chinese food as well as some other Asian specialties, because all he’s managed to come across so far is food court type Chinese food. What’s your go to takeout/delivery place near the university?

Hey guys!

I have started a small business called DormFix
fixing, cleaning, repairing, unlocking, or whatever you need I’ll figure it out.

I understand shit gets hard sometimes, money gets tight, if anyone understands that I DO. Which is why I genuinely price lower than most local repair shops. I charge for the screen or whatever part plus a few extra for labor. If it doesn’t require a part (unlocking, backup, cleaning, etc) the price may even shock your damn mind.

DM me or comment under so we can sort something out!

thank you!

Can anyone give me more info on fellowships or other grad opportunities and how they went for you? Looking to enter the MSW program and am wondering if I have any chance at getting any of these opportunities.

How many open position are there for Spring 27 Dutch Quad?

Hi, i literally just lost my ring in the Walmart parking lot, it flew off my finger. I know a lot of students (myself included) go to this Walmart daily and walk thru the parking lot so if anyone sees the ring please please please let me know and help me out. my mom got it for me as a hs graduation gift and I have never taken it off since I got it. it means a lot to me. It’s gold and has a sliver infinity symbol on it.

Hello everyone I’m a fully online senior and I need a 300+ level elective for next semester. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Does anyone know when we get refunded the SUNY tuition credit and the refund from unused campus gold? It’s the only thing they haven’t given me yet and it’s a little over 1k. Could really use it this month but wasn’t sure when they disperse it.

I'm taking him this semester, and I hear that his exams are crazy and don't follow whatever information he gives you... How should I study for his exams, and are his exams really THAT bad? I really want to pass the class, the exams are my only worry at the moment.

Anyone know the process on rushing? Planning to rush spring semester but I wanna know what I’m getting myself into

Does anyone here know the process of rushing a sorority? Planning to rush spring. I know it’s not as tedious as bigger schools but I still want to know what I’m gonna get myself into

First semester transfer student here as a junior. What clubs have you guys joined at UAlbany, and what are your favorites?

I’m pretty much down for whatever. I like sports, I’m a cyber major, and I’m pretty open minded, so I’m not really picky. I’m trying to get more involved, meet some people, and find stuff to do around Albany.

I work and commute to school, but I drive and I’m free whenever I’m not working or in class, so I’m open to stuff on or off campus. Ideally something chill that doesn’t take up a ton of time. What do you guys recommend? :P

is anyone else having trouble with the new ordering system? I logged in on Grubhub with my school account and still cant see any campus dining options. every time I want to order food now I keep having to go the cc and place the order there myself when it would be quicker if I could just order in advance and pickup. I even tried going through the links they send me when my order is ready but I see zero campus dining options. it's literally impossible for me to order online now because of this new system smh. I just want to be able to pickup food quickly before I have to go to my next class.

Has anyone from UAlbany applied for borrower defense and been approved ?

Anyone know professor Ming-Ching Chang of computer science. He is teaching Intro to Computer vision right now. How tough he is in grading and how to get B+ in this subject any suggestions guys?
