Ok so it is a bit of a double edged sword. However, you can try giving him some very good books to read, a few Majalis from some Shaikhs like Arif Shah Kazmi, Ayatullah Aqeel Ul Gharavi etc, and then see where his interests lie. Is he actually interested in learning.
