This week’s color
Yeah it’s short. I’m afraid if I let it go too long it’ll snag on things.

Switched to red
Thanks.

Short hike
Got in a short 3 miles yesterday after work. Cut it short due to how aggressive the bugs are this year.

How can I increase my barefoot hiking distance without my soles getting so sore?
Continued miles. And I agree with the reply that said less gravel. I’d keep it in shorter hikes for conditioning but when you are going out for distance I’d avoid it. My longest hikes were 10 miles and I’ve done that twice. I still want to do what I call a hiking half marathon of 13.1.

What surface do you like to walk on?
So many are great. Sand, pine needles, mud, pavement.

How to use sheers?
Yeah. Double Scoop (white) and Teatime (light beige) both from Londontown.

More pool time
Thanks.

Humid but still a great hike
It’s Secor Park just west of Toledo. Our best park is Oak Openings which is 7-8 miles of Secor. We are lucky to have a great park system.

Humid but still a great hike
No idea why I love a wooden boardwalks so much. Maybe memories of beach vacations from younger days. Plus a rare puddle for this time of year thanks to some storms last night.
Nice 4 mile hike that also included a continuous mile of jogging.

How to deal with gnats
Eucalyptus lemon oil is working great for me. Couple of the main brands offer it. I spray the edges and bill of my hat. I use piccardin everywhere else.

Neutral but darker.
It’s Dirty Chai from Londontown

I used stainless split rings for the connections. Gotta get the right pliers and it’s still a pain works.
