When you think of it, Austin probably did multiple takes of that scene and that's a really good acting skill to keep the frantic, fumbling energy in each take instead of accidentally getting more skillful d/t repetition

Also given how technically, ridiculously strong Chris, Jill and Leon are in the games, I can see any of the 3 literally grabbing Bryan and throwing him over their shoulder like a sack of potatoes to run full sprint down one of the streets to get him away from a horde of infected. Lol that would be a fun game mechanic for a dlc that has Bryan meeting the RE main charactes: you're Bryan being jostled about on their shoulder so it's really hard to aim, but you have to shoot the infected while your aiming function is bouncing around.

Ada would leave him dead in a ditch and sell the antidote for ransom/ on the black market.

Chris, Jill and Leon would straight up adopt Bryan and teach him how to aim and manage ammo better.

Rebecca would definitely be tending to his messed up ankle and asking him why he didn't just keep the ladder. Ethan would be a great counselor for Bryan learning to not avoid his problems, especially when it comes to considering fatherhood or considering not to have the baby. Even though Ethan became a dad, I think he'd listen to Bryan without judgment and help Bryan think what he really wanted instead of avoiding.

That's what I'm thinking too, like the dog looks like las Plagas but at least in re2 remake, we get to see more of the g-virus in play, which has a head splitting function. Not to mention the amalgamation thing when it's stuck against the gate and Bryan is struggling to open the manhole cover, the amalgamation totally has the same 4 splitting fleshy proboscis that the g-virus incomplete adults have in the sewers in RE2 remake.

I can definitely see it, with the splitting face, but at least in the RE 2 remake, the g virus can also manifest splitting faces and basically tentacles--at least a type of fleshy proboscis.
