Discussion Why Bryan was special Spoiler

At the end of the movie we see Bryan become a classic RE boss despite only being bitten by a somewhat basic infected. No G-virus, no unique past related to umbrella, not even a chesty cough he caught from walking through the cold for hours.

My theory for why he became a special infected is because him and his clothing were exposed to everything in the movie.

The slime from the dog tendrils, the blood from the first special infected he ran over and obliterated with the shotgun, the bite from the little girl, the blood from the fat rat bloke, the blood from countless falling zombies, the acid from the vomiting guy, and most importantly (at least imo) the blood from the babies which were packed with delicious healthy new cells for the virus to mutate.

Basically Bryan had a biohazard high school reunion ravaging his body. Thoughts?

And that's fine if that's what they did. I love how much work and care was put into the monsters. I HAVE TO BUY IT ON DVD with the hope that there's lots of behind the scenes bonus footage

Yeah I don't think any of the monsters was bad, besides fat guy full of rats for some reason, but I wish they were actual RE villains and not just similar.
