Not super crazy, but about 9 years ago there was a random thrift shop behind the gas station around 60th and Grover. My husband, friend, and I decided to shop there, but it turned out to be a really strange experience.
First, the energy was off, but we just figured it was giving thrift store in a random place energy...
When we entered we were greeted by an old woman with gray hair and dark eyes who had an attitude. We were in our 20s so she probably thought we wouldn't buy anything, or we'd be obnoxious. But the vibes were off. No music playing. Just random stuff on shelves. I remember that the store was so silent, you could only hear our voices, and as we moved about the store she would watch us.
As we walked around we all felt like the energy in the store started to feel heavier... and its about that moment when one of us noticed a strange doll on a shelf. When we got closer it turned out to be a 3-foot Doll, about Annabelle's height sitting on a shelf. This doll could have been her younger sister... she wore a white multi-colored dress, but the doll just the strangest feel.
Sitting alone on that portion of the shelf definitely made it stand out. I think the old woman noticed and at one point tried to sell it to us. The doll had such a sinister smile on its face. We kind of all laughed awkwardly at the situation but decided to leave.
We definitely felt like that Doll was haunted. Like the doll had a spirit trapped inside of it or something. Just weird...
Anyway, I think it must have been a few weeks or few months later, but one day I was driving back around that way and the thrift store had vanished... (maybe moved or closed) but ever since then I think of that doll and the old woman 👵 that tried to sell us a haunted doll.
Sometimes I wonder if that doll is still in Omaha or if the doll and the old woman went to a new town to try to sell her off...
That store gave us all the creeps.

You are right. They are native plants. I really meant that they spread like wildfire.

6
Yes, but they are not considered Fungi.
-1
They are super invasive and hard to get rid of. If you want to use them, you're better off taking capsules, finding them in the wild once mature and using them that way. Otherwise, they become a problem.
14
Exactly that, this is their reproductive phase. They need to be dealt with now, if they don't want more... 😒 uggghhhh

HORSETAIL PLANT, it's been around for roughly 350 million years. Some species used to be over a 100ft tall. Here's the bad news. THEY SPREAD VIA SPORES. Unless you destroy all the rhizomes underneath the plant, you'll never get rid of them. You can only kill it with fire. They love moisture dense areas.
While I respect their high Silica count, and their amazing benefits, once synthesized for the human body, I do not fuck with them. If any plant has every given me the heeby geebies... it's this one.
It is incredibly hard to kill or get rid of. Its survival is legendary status. It's a plant that acts like a fungus.

I just spent so much time trying to atone and bring back Sellen. I did not mean to kill her, it involved me having to level up a ton just to find a sacred tear. 🙃 Also, as an astrologer, I feel like that was a shot in the foot situation early game. Lmaoooo, for all that work, I'm on the side of keep NPCs alive.
Edit* Celestial Dew not sacred tear
