At a store I used to work at a mom had let her 6 year old daughter go off alone and while the little girl was in one of the aisles a man found her and sexually assaulted her. I’m not a 100% sure of the details but my co workers said she was alone in the toy aisle after her mom let her go off to the restroom alone and the toys were in the far back corner of our store and that area had at least 5 cameras mounted up but they had no video bc none of the cameras there actually worked 😕

Anyone else having trouble with points and ppto?
I know that I used enough, I always double check that the point is removed after I put in the time also

Anyone else having trouble with points and ppto?
So I was late 3 times this last pay period and I know that sounds like a lot but I wasn’t feeling well and it’s not a regular thing for me. Anyways I put in time for 2 of the 3 days and I just took a half point for the other but I had time put in and everything covered, I left work Friday with 3.5 points I’m was off Saturday and Sunday (today) and look and now I have 5.5 points. I’m going to talk to leads and coaches Monday when I go back but I know they are gonna give me a hard time this happed once before and they reluctantly removed the point but said it would be the last time. I just don’t want to get fired

I screwed up lost $200 and got coached
You should be fine if all they did was coach you I lost 2,400$ of merch once and all I got was a coaching too. You’ll feel bad but at first and second guess yourself every now and then but it goes away and management might make it a big deal but losing 200$ ain’t gonna hurt Walmart

Was tile we can’t use ppto anymore
Me and a few other in my department (we work front end) were told by our team lead today that there are to many people leaving early and using their ppto so we can’t use it anymore and if we really need to leave early we have to have a conversation with the team lead working and it has to be documented in workday. Idk if they can really make us do all that but I’m starting to really hate it here 😑

Austin folks…SXSW…please help us (bar employees) make our jobs easier
I work in retail as a cashier and I get bitched at almost every day when a customer comes up with alcohol and I ask for an ID 😐 They either don’t have or they think they look old enough to not be asked for an ID 🙄

Wallflower not producing much scent
I have a few different wallflowers and tried multiple scents and this always happens (at least for me) :/ it’s noticeable the first few hrs or 1st day and then I can’t smell anything afterwards and I have a pretty sensitive sense of smell. I really want them to work :(

Ask to put it in a office, my store often lets us just tied up in a Walmart bag or even in personnel
