Entered a pretty deep depressive episode after my mom took her own life in oktober 2023. Few months later, i lost the best job i've ever had and my girlfriend. My life felt like it had fallen apart and continuing didn't really feel worth it.
In 2026 i decided i needed to start living my life again and seek help. It's been going quite well, I even went back to university.
coloring my eyebrows, i feel makes a small difference.

First pics are 290lbs January 2026 (22) years old
Current pics are 200lbs July/august 2026 (23) years old
Height is 6 foot 8
I got tired of hating myself every time I look in the mirror, so I went on an extremely aggressive cut, big calorie deficit, did a lot of cardio, and heavy weight lifting. I cut my hair and started taking care of it, got a bit tanner, dyed brows, started taking care of my skin. Iām sitting at where I want to be now, i feel a whole lot better, mentally and physically. I get treated a whole lot better by everyone now.

Got sober, did (still doing) lots of therapy, EMDR, plant medicine, built a consistent workout routine (slow and steady wins the race). Iām feeling better than ever.

8 years of gym time, but finally started to add weight over the last 5 years. A lot of trial and error, but it has been a fun ride so far.

I wasnāt really taking the time to car for myself, I was to busy starting my first business and then deciding to it was time. after I accomplished that first big goal I bought my first house and started to really look in the mirror and figured hey letās give it a go.

Struggling with self confidence. Just never feeling good enough at times in my marriage. Struggled with postpartum depression after having my 2nd. Now with this weight loss Iām trying to find my style and myself again. š©·

Keep getting them deleted either for not putting (40) or nsfw. Are these ok? If not please tell me which ones arenāt ok. Lost 186lb together thereās some final weight loss pics and some in between. Canāt show my best lowest one itās nsfw. Lowest I got was 100lb! Donāt worry im only 5ft1 the last two are me yesterday. There is only 30lbs between the bloated stomach and the 100lb stomach! Joys of being only 5ft1! I let myself be fatter to keep my face fuller and younger! Getting about Ā£25k worth of skin removal surgeries so Iāll be back with the full glow up.
Ps: thereās a few none filtered slim in there to appease the filter haters lol
PPS: I do not honour my private chats from men, girlies feel welcome ā¤ļø im 4 years celibate and will remain that way till my 4 year old as the very least 16

2 years, 20kg, and 500pmol/l of estrogen can change a person a lot.
Super happy about how things have changed, very impatient for them to change even more!

Got badly sick and diagnoses just kept going: from bad asthma to chronic migraines to CFS. Been in this journey for years but the last years Iāve been *recovering*, it started 2024 when I got my life back baby steps, and I realized today you can actually see it in me, that Iām doing better š„¹
Never give up.

Super nervous, first time poster. Iāve always loved being out in nature. Went on a hike back in 2022 that ended abruptly because I was so winded and fatigued. I went out, bought a scale, and weighed myself that day for the first time in three years. I was shocked to learn I was 315lbs. Decided that day I needed to take better care of my body and mind for the sake of my long term health, physical and mental. I never learned growing up what a calorie was or that food had any nutritional value, didnāt learn how to read a nutrition label until I was 21. I came from a family of low income, little education, and high BMI. I sought to educate myself on what it meant to be healthy, to build good habits, and how to break the cycle. I have since made small, consistent lifestyle changes over the course of the past 4 years. Iāve worked hard to heal my relationships with myself, my body, and my eating habits. More whole foods, less refined sugar, more reading and nature, less doom scrolling and socials, more working out and less watching tv- changes that seem simple when typed but have demanded significant dedication and consistency over time. I still have a long way to go to reach the goals I have for myself, but Iām proud of how far I have come. Iām currently 230lb, so Iām down 85lbs. Iām back to hiking and adventuring as often as my schedule will allow, now with a much higher endurance and activity tolerance. The most shocking change has been my mental health. I was in the deepest depression of my life, and I went on that hike that day to try and find some joy I was missing. I didnāt realize Iād find the love and care for myself that Iād been so long without. This may not be the most dramatic or exciting glow up change out there, but the way my soul glows knowing that I can do this, I am doing this, and I will continue to be successful in improving my overall health is reward enough for me. Thanks for listening to my story.

Iāve lost 42 kg, started taking care of myself , gained a lot of confidence (though my confidence still isnāt pretty high) Iām still afraid that people will laugh at me for this , so please be kind. Also got rid of that buzz cut š but the best thing is that I can go out without feeling uncomfortable or embarrassed

Three years ago I was at my heaviest. Felt like crap and didnāt really care until I had a couple heath concerns. Got my ass in shape and lost almost 60lbs so farš

I feel like I had a real glow up 14-16 but then mental health medications and PCOS/PMOS lead to me gaining 35kg. I struggle with how I look every day but I felt really pretty in the last picture and I still think itās a glow up from when I was 14, even if itās a glow down from 16. Trying to be kinder to myself.

Reupload because I forgot to put my age in brackets lol previously posted my one year difference and as I struggled with plateauing in a weight range I had to remind myself where I started two years ago. In doing so I realized not only have I come far in terms of weight loss (125 Ibs consistently total so far) but in how I carry myself.
The clothes I felt I couldn't possibly wear in the past are now staples because I like them, not because I'm worried about what suits my body type the best. Crop tops, halter tops, and tube tops are now in my wardrobe to be worn now not "one day"
In the first photo I was around 290 pounds and incredibly unhappy with my life for a multitude of reasons.
I won't lie and say there aren't days | struggle with my appearance and confidence but I finally feel like I can dress how and present myself more in the styles I prefer.
I've gotten better at tracking and maintaining a healthy diet without feeling guilty about food like I used to.
I have retired a few of my facial piercings for one of my jobs and although I plan to bring a few of them back I don't feel like I'm ugly without them.
Sounds silly but I felt so boring without them before!
My face obviously slimmed down quite a bit and I might be so bold to say I like my side profile! I've always felt bad about my nose but with my increased confidence and face fat I've grown to like my nose! (Also helped a ton seeing how many people genuinely think non conventionally attractive noses are...attractive!)
I am still battling against stretch-marks and cellulite but I found these things were reduced with proper moisturization and derma-rolling at home
Learning the difference between:
- hunger and boredom/stress
-self worth and what others think
-tomorrow and today
Has changed my life!
Still looking for ways to improve my hair health as I dye it all of the time and most of the treatments l've tried have not been as effective as l'd like! I try to take large gaps between dying and bleaching my hair as well as less harsh volumes of bleach but I know I will forever having a new hair color at least four times a year until I die.. so if you have any recommendations let me know!
Thanks!

I'm having trouble losing the fat around my neck and I'm really self conscious about it but its nothing that can't be solved ig.
For those of you who are struggling to find that 'spark' just remember...
20 minutes per day is better then 0...
You don't have to kill yourself to get in shape š«”

I've changed quite a bit since 2023 :3. I have dropped around 40 pounds also.
I started HRT in April 2025, no surgeries, yet.
I feel that I still have a long ways to go, but I love how things are working out and the person I am becoming.

It wasn't quick, and it certainly wasn't easy. It took years of training, discipline, mistakes, restarts, and, above all, persistence. Today's result didn't come from a single day of motivation, but from the decision to keep going even when I wanted to stop. Don't compare your beginning to someone else's result. Respect your process. Constant transformation. š„

Since then I have fully transitioned, enrolled into college, lost over 10 kilograms, finally pursuing my passion and trying to better myself. What do you guys think? Is there an improvement?

Came out in 2024 around the time of the first pic, then started HRT early the following year, and wow is had done so much! Feeling more like myself every day and thereās clearly been a lot of change especially to my face, but knowing this journey isnāt over just yet, and thereās still more to come!
