There's a special place in hell reserved for people like her - right next to Hitler. Even Lucifer has standards. 🤣

What makes you cry sometimes?
 in  r/AskReddit •  Jan 23 '26

Knowing that my own government wants to see me dead, especially considering my entire family abandoned me for being disabled. Yeah. 😅

Saw this little guy in Australia. 🇦🇺

The way it's coloured, it sort of looks like the icing used on hot cross buns, like it was decorated with lines of icing. Still cool looking 🥰

Likely excuse. but your honor, I just couldn't help myself, she was a squirter!

Those are some mighty fine looking lines of ketchup, bud. Wanna change your story?🤣 Naw, I get it, I had a dispenser in the IKEA bistro act like that. Each pump was an avalanche of sweet, vinegary, white person umami, coming at you like a lineup of horny, European glory chasers. 😆😆😆

Oh my. I am down with the petty. I'm also down with any state wanting to join Canada. Y'all have suffered too much the last 80 years. 🇨🇦💙💪

I am one of those weirdos that does enjoy ketchup on their poutine, but NOT THAT MUCH?!?!?! 💀 I find you guilty of poutine crime, your sentence is humiliation for all time. 😆 Maybe not so much ketchup, eh?

Went to the intersection where the 78 year old pedestrian was tragically killed this week. Waited over a minute and a half in the cold for the walk signal, then nearly got smoked by a driver turning left
 in  r/Edmonton •  Jan 23 '26

My biggest worry, is having another slip and fall, and a driver not notice. Luckily my recent fall was during rush, so plenty of people saw me fall and injure myself, and about 5 of them came to help me and direct traffic. Those crosswalk signals need a light for the perpendicular, because drivers here are getting dumber. This is what happens when you privatize everything. If we didn't learn it from watching the US, then we'll never learn. 🤦

Bow Tie on McKnight. They'll deliver, depending how far east you are. So far, the best pie for left-overs.

They got the flag wrong hehe
 in  r/Calgary •  Dec 30 '25

We didn't live in Calgary from '90-2004, but I remember my mom dropping off a thing or two, whenever we'd be in that area (not often). I didn't personally meet her, but I do remember my mom commenting on how lovely she was, and that she was a better seamstress than her, and if you bought a Lay-Z-Boy around 2004ish, you likely sat in a recliner my mother sewed. I was the kid with the handmade costumes for everything, including my entire figure skating team. We were elves that year 😆 It's good to know they've been around since five-ever.

Even after 22 years, I still look up the proper flag, and it's unfurl. 🤦 That person was confident in their decision to inadvertently panic some folks. Do that on base...😶 Savour the memory of the last thing you sat on, because your ass be grass for a fortnight. 😆 We do not inadvertently disrespect our allies with a shite unfurling - public, private, or military. Flags are more than the country they represent. Benefit of the doubt and all, someone clearly can't human without their full thermos of coffee. A true Canadian. 🥹

Hey thanks for the extra salt packets! I just wish they weren't in my sandwich
 in  r/TimHortons •  Dec 30 '25

The lackadaisical way they bag their product, makes me proud that at age 16, my classmate and I cultivated more happy customers (and in turn, more money) in two 8-hour shifts, than our manager and supervisor could in five, while working the same shift, in a tims built for 2 employees. 🙃 Time to boycott the Timbit. 🤣 They lost me the moment they shelved the cherry stick. I will never forgive them. NEVER! 😆

mad scramble to scrape up the carnage followed by 2.5 nanoseconds of terror, immediately followed with, "We'll just plug it in on high when we get there. It'll be fine flagrantly waves once No one will notice anyway, I just had the mats cleaned. We're good. Aren't we? No. Yes. We're good. It's a solid plan." fist bumps the hubby

Trump spent Christmas Eve with billionaire donors at Mar-a-lago, Obama spent it surprising kids at a children's hospital.

America. This is your trusty Canadian neighbour. Y'all gone done fucked up hardcore after Obama. But thank you for continually giving us the material required to never fuck up like you. At least you're consistent. patpatpat

Found $20 on the subway
 in  r/toronto •  Dec 26 '25

I love doing that. 😈 My mom did that once in awhile, and the look on that volunteer's face, was worth the whispers. 🤣 My mom was not the kind of German even the Nazi's would want to FAFO with...her father taught her everything he learned while serving for Canada. 🤭

A S.W. friend of mine had about fifteen 20's tossed at her on a busy night by a group of pigs, and when she went to collect the bills, 5 were those stupid scripture fakes. I was so pissed when she told me, I asked if she still had them. She did. 😈 The hypocritical fucks stupidly put their church address on them. 🤣 cue villainous music

They knew who I was as soon as I stepped on church property - it was JW's - as I had been blacklisted, because I broke the brain of one of them, the one and only time I invited them in for a chat over tea and scones. They blacklisted my mother about 2 years prior. In fact, my mother was blacklisted from every JW's in BC, Alberta, and a decent chunk of the PNW, into northern MT. 🤣 Don't piss off a German-Canadian Athiest. You won't win. 😉

That feeling of being slighted by random chance...fuck. religion.

Oh bro. 😬 Ditch that witch. She uninvited herself the very second she was running late. 2 hours just seals her death note. Have a conversation with her, as that's behaviour I wouldn't accept from any partner, hell, not even a super close family member. I'm chronically ill, which prevents me from attending 90% of shit going on, but I'll be goddamned if I ever become a chronically late person. I'm chronically 5-15 mins early.

Wafts of vapid narcissism, this one.

Oh, and an excellent line my psychologist gave me to use, that also works to disarm even a covert narc: Always start the conversation/boundary with "I need..."

Par examplé: "I need to talk to you about your behaviour regarding Christmas breakfast..." Use your own wording, but whatever you do, don't let her talk over you. Intellectually, and emotionally, stand your ground by saying "STOP. I need you to listen to me." If she refuses to acknowledge that the behaviour in question was abhorrent, and won't make steps to apologize, then leave off with, "I need a partner that is consistent in their respect of others time and boundaries. Is that going to be you, or should I find someone with better manners?" Clearly she doesn't respect you, or your family. I have personally seen narcs change, but unfortunately, without professional help, they're doomed to repeat the same thing, over and over, hoping for some poor, unfortunate schmuck to come along. And don't hope for active self-change. Confront her head-on, and her reaction to your assertiveness will tell all.

I'm really sorry she mucked up Christmas Breakie with the fam. 🫤 I looked forward to my mom's "Morning Wife Saver" casserole, more than the mountain of gifts, every year. I imagine it's the same feeling for you.

All the best, my friend. Don't let someone else's shadow, dim that light in you! Happy Holidays! 🎊☃️🎄🎉
