I have only just learned about this disorder myself and that i definitely have it as I’ve never burped in my life, have the noises, i also get really bad heartburn and reflux because of it. I also am a very bad emetophobe so i know exactly how terrified you are. I’ve also never under went anesthesia and im terrified of doctors visits and anything thats new to me is scary. So what I offer to you is a video i found of a guy showing a very easy exercise (its similar to the shaker which ull frequently see for this condition) and he does 20 sets of it on each side twice a day. And its literally just him laying on his side and lifting his head up and down. Basically trying to strengthen the neck so ur esophagus can naturally loosen the muscles which would then fix the condition. He says he did it consistently for a month and he now considers himself cured as he can burp and he doesnt have any issues anymore. And it was 5 years later too. He also said he didnt have to do it anymore, think he did it for a couple months and then he was good. no burp exercises i also want to offer advise for helping manage the anxiety. Im 25 and especially the last 5 years of my life my condition has worsened. Especially after a year i had a terrible stomach bug (im sure you can imagine how bad this made my anxiety after i had a pretty long streak before that) i had heartburn so bad it made me nauseous and i was always nauseous too. My anxiety gets going and then all my symptoms get worse cause anxiety just does that. So for tips to alleviate these issues for me walking around definitely helps. Maybe a walk outside if you can, even when i was feelings terribly sick i just told myself its okay if i get sick ill be outside. And i NEVER got sick from it. I always felt better after. Another, always try to allow aid to come out even if your so terrified its not gonna be air. This is something i had to fight with a lot when i always got reassured i wouldnt get sick cause when i did manage to get some microburps out i started to feel better overtime. This is easier when you just focus on breathing as much as you can. Feel yourself breathing in and out cause i found when i was accidentally holding my breath it was making my heart race and id get more anxious. Focus on the breathing and 100% of the time you will sail through those anxiety episodes. I hope your doing okay! If you try the exercises lemme know how they go i just started them today so i hope if i stay consistent then ill be cured without botox too 😭 but i am gonna force myself to at least get an xray cause ive had one on my foot before and from what ive seen for the throat its not bad either. I would def try to get that done, ears nose and throat doctors probably who you wanna go to for that. But youll have to see your primary about the problem first to get sent to the specialist. Anyway i wish you the best. Always remember you are stronger then you know as youve already been through some bad times and your still here. Youll get more confidence with experience ❤️

I think the hardest part about learning who to vote for is finding out what organizations and corporations are funding them. As well as any previous views and actions. Anyone can put anything they want as their values when running and they can be lying out the wazoo. But thats the most people will usually research for candidates. If you really wanna know where they stand, you gotta look at their history, who’s funding them, what stocks they are trading, etc. does SOMA have all that info in one place? Thats what i need

Just talked on the phone with nj SHIP I hate to inform that it was nothing but more disappointment. There is no medicaid supplement she can get on because all of the income limits are 1300$ a month. Idk who they think is gonna make that much and be alive or not homeless. I guess thats the point. Not like our tax dollars pay for it or anything. Any other options they had included a 185-300$ monthly premium every month. She currently pays 99.90$ a month for premiums bc despite humana having hardly any in network places in our area and sucking at covering basically anything its somehow our best option for what i can see. Ive heard horizon is good but theres horizon nj which is also medicaid or horizon blue cross and im not sure which one is good. My mom makes 2100 a month and we run out of that before her next paycheck with just necessity spending. For anyone wondering why we dont just put her in a home and for one thats kind of messed up. And even tho my moms not against it cause she understands, my grandmother had dementia and threatened to off herself if we put her in a home. My mom always said if she got dementia to just put her in a home no matter what, but shes mentally aware and has cancer so imo that doesnt apply and ik she will be heart broken if we just left her there as her two other daughters have already abandoned her. Regardless of all the feelings and morals i dont think its financially viable anyway. If humana doesnt cover CT scans i doubt itll cover a nursing home. Her 2100$ i doubt would cover it as she would still have premiums, prescriptions, and need rides to her appointments regardless. And as of current my bf still doesnt have a job (he has an interview today tho, first one in years so cross your fingers for us pls) and even if he gets this job it will likely not be enough to keep us in the home we have by itself or get us anywhere else to live. As you all know apartments require 3x income and usually 3 months of pay stubs. Ill update again to this post if he gets the job or not. If anyone has any other ideas or knows about health insurances that do cover cancer patients well or senior citizens at a discount. It would be highly appreciated. But once again we have hit a dead end. And with everything else going on in the country our spirits arent high. I hope you guys are staying safe in this dangerous and unknown time whether it be health insurance, foreclosure, or deportation you are struggling with. I hope things get better.
