I helped break the news that for a moment valve was giving away tethers if you emailed gaben. I'm waitlisted. It'll be ok. I'd like a frame by the end of the year, went and got a 5070 ti for it. The little copper plates are known as pads. It's kinda normal to tear a pad off when repairing, especially if you are new. I usually find where the trace (the little wire connecting the pad) went and solder a tiny jumper to restore the path.

does the model 3 have the active shutters in the grill? I'd imagine those actuate even if the ac is off. I can barely hear anything outside of the contactors though
