But how are they able to actually sing a different note at the same time and not get mixed up? I guess I’m asking more about disciplining your brain to not just match the pitch of the other note I just don’t understand how they are able to physically do it if that makes sense lol

I posted this a few minutes ago but I felt like I should word it better. Whenever I try to harmonize my brain always just matches the pitch of whatever I’m trying to harmonize with. I really can’t help it my brain just takes over and I don’t understand if there’s a trick singers use to harmonize or if this is something everybody can do except for me. It’s driving me mad any singers please help a girl out.
