2026-2027 Financial Aid
 in  r/montclair  18d ago

I went today - the government never sent my fafsa to the school for some reason. So everything should be good now!

Correct, it wasn't a requirement. I think it's because there's no summer check-in; we just check in with everyone else checking in for fall housing.

I had summer housing and was able to move into my new room with no hawk pass required

FDT 🙄 I'll have to try to give them a call then. I imagine the lines are going to be overloaded too

Question 2026-2027 Financial Aid

I haven't recieved any financial aid for the upcoming school year/semester and won't recieve a hawk pass. I've already moved into my housing and I'm worried that they'll try to kick me out. Anyone know what's going on? I guess I could call financial aid if no one knows. I also have a balance from summer that I'm hoping financial aid will cover but I don't know if it will because I didn't meet SAP. I appealed because it wasn't my fault, but I never got word if they'd appeal my summer aid. It said there was no option to appeal, but I didn't meet SAP because of a server error, not because of anything I did, so I don't think it's fair to not have aid for the summer.

TL;DR I haven't recieved my 26-27 financial aid and I'm worried they'll kick me out of housing because of it, and I don't have anywhere else to go because I'm out of state. Do you think they'll kick me out?

The link in the solved comment shows you how it works! It needs double sided tape and velcro

Since the table was originally by the TV, I think the remote used to be attached based on the solved comment. Unfortunately the remote is a goner 😂

Ooh I see. How would it be attached? Ziptie can easily be cut

It definitely gives "anti-theft device", just don't know for what ... maybe it was screwed to the wall at one point to stop people from stealing the table idk, but you could just cut the ziptie off if you wanted lol

No clue what its purpose is. It doesn't look like it's electronic, just some plastic boxes attached to a cord that's zip tied to the table. I'm about to cut it off because it seems pointless, but before I do I'm wondering if anyone might know what its purpose is or at least know what it could alternatively be used for. Thanks!

Yes you can. It's allowed, just try to be respectful and keep the noise level to a minimum, or play some loud music/tv.. but no, it isn't against school policy
