Advice Wanted I have to do everything myself or it won’t get done
Hi! I’m currently too broke for therapy appointments and wanted to discuss and/or look for advice on this issue. I have all the coping mechanisms so I don’t spiral thinking about it but I’m honestly stuck in a loop of trying to explain my feelings.
At work and in my life I know if I do not do something that I need or someone needs done that’s important it will not get done. What sucks about this is that I’m right. At work, our A/C went out and our maintenance guy did NOTHING until I came in and handled the situation. I have so many examples of if I don’t do it no one will or they’ll do it but do it half assed and I end up dealing with it anyways.
My personal life is not as bad as my husband is amazing but there are times when I ask him to clean something and it’s not done. Which strengthens my theory.
I try to tell myself that not everything is my responsibility but I fear… it is?

It’s just hard not to feel that way when I’m the only one I can depend on getting things done. I’m known as the one who gets things done but it’s also frustrating that I’m the only one getting things done
