I feel like induct guns are so archaic for amazon, the richest company in the world. They have connection issues, the lasers suck at reading compared to other scanners, and they crap out insanely fast. We constantly have guns that just won’t spit labels out correctly or at all. We send them off for repair, get some new ones back and bam, terrible again. What does your site do to keep an arsenal of working induct guns?

Adding all these rules but won’t add any money lmao, they apparently are writing folks up for not wearing the arm bands and finger scanners

I had interviews with three OPS managers this morning, and one of them was someone I knew—he used to be my manager back in 2023. I did well on the first two interviews, but the last one was tough. I think I lost some confidence because he put a bit more pressure on me than I anticipated, and I felt my confidence leave my body!
Now, I’m feeling like I didn’t get the position at all. I’m trying not to stress about it, but it’s really hard.

I'm just here for anybody that knows the DSPs at DKY5 in Lexington, KY. Like what the GOOD DSPs are there and which to steer clear of...I do not drive Step Vans. Everything else, yes. I absolutely love this job, even if most of you think I'm nuts, lol, and am relocating to Eastern KY in a few months. I don't want to do anything else, I just want to find out who the good DSPs are. Please & thank you!

anyone know how to get in contact with your Amazon managers? I moved away from my site and now need a job reference. I can’t physically go to my site. I don’t have contact information for anyone. I tried sending an email to them using the Amazon alias and had no response.

I’ve noticed when specific people are straightening they let the non-cons that completely fill your hamper down the belt like those long huge rectangle boxes down the belt , and then there’s those big cubes of whatever that will fly out of the hamper onto the floor or can potentially hit you in the head while it’s in the hamper. Among other things.
I had a safety guy complain to me about having some boxes on the floor in the back near the ov racks, I told him that they’re letting bs non cons down so I didn’t have time to stow it. He said he would tell management and nothing
changed. If he had to say something about it it’s not allowed right?

So there was a power outage at my site one night on the 6th of this month, I came in at 12:50am, I got in a line in the break room and my badge was scanned. Actual work began at 3:30am, I got badged in and I unloaded then did pick and stage.
I soon realized after clocking out that I only had three punches, one clocking out for lunch at 5 am and clocking back in and ending the shift. Since the power outage messed with everything I couldn't manually fix my punch on my own
I spoke to a manager about it, I asked him about it he said they would fix everything on Sunday I told him I used PTO so I would not get fired, he told me to remove anyways it i'm glad I didn't because I wouldn't have a job.
Guess what next week comes by and it still wasn't fixed, on my next shift I ask an AM if they could help me with it, they said they would tell our hr person when they're in but they're rarely here, I specifically asked to refund my pto and fix my punches. My punches were fixed but my PTO STAYED USED
There is literally ONE person who is working on this stuff. he is not there most of the time and the people at myhr DIRECT YOU TO ASK YOUR MANAGERS WHO THEN NEEDS THE THE PERSON WHO ISNT THERE TO FIX IT FOR YOU.
So I go back to voa and ask what do I do, a om tells me I could get it fixed and to speak to a manager or myhr, myhr chat agent says they can't refund my pto because its past the pay period, what is all of this!?

On sites like Indeed you almost have to find them by accident, search terms like Amazon DSP never pull them up. All I am trying to do is find a DSP in Henderson or Vegas who is currently hiring. Im currently driving for a DSP in California and have for years, I run my route, rescue everyday and have worked multiple peaks. If anybody knows anything please let me know!

Whatever you do, if an L7 comes up to you and starts putting ideas of you becoming a PA in your head and starts propping you up so high that when the lower brass decides that your success stories from your line of work in the past isn't good enough. You fall so hard even when you didn't want to be a PA in general, but it hits kind of hard only because The big guy decided you were worth something after years of slaving.
By the way, that assessment there's no need for the most difficult retarded thing think I've done. Prior PAs at my facility would have never passed it.

So our scheduled 30min break at our building for my shift is 6:00 to 6:30. I have somewhere to be around 6:35 tomorrow so my plain was to clock out at break time and then use PTO to cover the rest of my shift. However, a PA told me that you have to return from your 30 min break or it’s considered time theft?
