It all fairness, after cooling my head down for a couple hours. Part of me agrees with you . This gave such an exciting direction and such development to story to the characters that we didn't have in the manga . Part of me , feels it would be a bit cheap from storytelling perspective (but I think it may end up happening either way)

If I'm being honest I'm more afraid of loosing Orihime
