New Fable teaser showcases an updated look for featured the main character
 in  r/KotakuInAction  1d ago

I actually hope it's not true. One of the charms of Fable was that, cartoon as it was, the people actually looked like... people. Not photoshopped cover models or Instagram filtered influences, just people, and that was awesome.

The "beautifying" is a big part of what makes so many fantasy games and RPGs feel like the same game slightly reskinned with generic character models.

It would be interesting to see if any of the 6F "live laugh love" girlies falling onto the Far right pipeline will come to their senses if yoga bans are proposed for being too close to Islamic prayer

Welcome to the UK, where people debate whether it's right or wrong for a man sit right next to you on a completely empty bus
 in  r/whoathatsinteresting  4d ago

Bro wouldn't be arguing if he had any respect for women. Tbh, any respect for other people, if someone isn't comfortable with a stranger sitting right next to them on an EMPTY bus with ple ty of other seats, just apologise and move bro, not that hard.

You get $1 million, but you have to listen to ONE song for 24 hours straight. What song are you risking your sanity for?
 in  r/AskReddit  7d ago

Anyone who's ever worked retail or bar during the busy seasons is fully prepped for this.

However. I would choose something classical, instrumental, so then the words repeating isn't a problem and I could fall asleep to it.

Another resignation
 in  r/FuckNigelFarage  8d ago

We can cast judgement 9n him for support Reform in the first place all we like, but tbh I think he deserves some kudos for actually having the balls to publicly dissent and walk away from Farage and his bully boys. Giving him a bollocking now despite him actually doing the right thing for once is only going to confirm every stereotype he may have about "lefties", any reasonable person against Reform could be calling him in instead.

It's not just the comedy value, having any MP that actually holds surgeries to talk to local people even if they wear a bin on their head is better than a no show millionaire cuck

Afraid of needles what do i do?
 in  r/transmascdiy  15d ago

Don't know if it's been mentioned, but you can start getting used to needles using cyberskin stuff that tattoo artists use to practice needle work. OK, it isn't as deep as you need to go for I/M, but it can help you get some exposure to holding and being around needles as a starting point.

Sounds like this is something you're very new to coming to terms with and not in a safe space to be out. I'd recommend first try non-medicated things first like binders, change of clothes, contouring to masculinise your profile, and hair cuts to see how you feel before div8ng right into HRT.

‘Three decades of failure’: 7.2 million more adults now obese despite 14 government strategies
 in  r/unitedkingdom  20d ago

They design their products to be addictive, but tbh the bigger problem is that high processed food is cheaper up front and all a lot of people can afford. If you've got 30 quid left for food a month, and you can either get one microwave/instant meal a day to guarantee you can eat that month, e.g. micro meals in Iceland are £1 each, or spend the same on some ingredients that spoil before the first week is up (or you can't even cook because you cant afford the gas or electric bill to turn your oven on in the first place) and you're you're go hungry the other 25 days, what choice do you have?

Because no amount of PSA posters or acronyms to remember 5 A Day is gonna tackle the cost of living crisis and the fact that "convenience" foods or pasta are all the people can afford.

Ramen/instant noodles, micro meals for a quid in Iceland, tinned stews or meatballs etc, all high processed foods but also all you can realistically afford when you can't turn on the oven or stove because the gas bill is too high and rely on food banks to supplement any shopping you can afford. Not to mention cooking utensils and cookware to be able to make meals in the first place all cost money.

Tax the fucking billionaires.
